Retreat on Lake Winnebago

Ranch style house, great for families, couples or groups at a reasonable price for staying directly on Lake Winnebago. Huge yard with fire pit, horseshoe pit, nestled in a quiet cove with shallow sandy waters right off the pier. The pier is available for use, however the water is only ~2 feet deep. Beds to accommodate 6 adults and 2 kids plus blow up cot if needed.

The southeastern side of Oshkosh is woodsy, quiet, and tucked away from all the hustle and bustle, but still close to modern conveniences (Pik n Save, Target, Walmart, Shopko, Menards, etc). Oshkosh is home to the annual EAA AirVenture, and the house is only ~15 minutes from the action in July!

Great location & family spot

Cozy with a great view. A great family spot by the lake with beautiful trees and a good set up. Coffee and amenities were available and this property had a host that cared and shared their cabin like we were family.

Great place

This is a lovely property in a quiet neighborhood. The owner was great to work with and very friendly. There was alot of fun stuff to do from the paddleboards to yard games. We all had the best time!

Great Wisconsin Getaway

10/10. Great location right on the water, enough space for all of our guests and close to many great marinas/restaurants Katie was also very helpful and got back to me right away if I had any questions! This is a great place to stay!

Just as advertised

This was our first time staying here and have already booked again for next year. Check in was a breeze and the owners were easy to work with. Great location, wonderful cabin with all the amenities!

Beautiful home

Great place with a lovely setting. We rated the home as well as we could. Five stars for the host who was awesome. Unfortunately the smell of cat urine was so thick in the air that we had to buy air fresheners and have candles lit all weekend. A lovely place and a great host, but we are sensitive to animal odors and no review mentioned this, nor did the wonderful owner.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay. Adults and kids enjoyed paddle boarding, kayaking, bonfires, and bags game. Plenty of space for our family of six.

Great lake house.

This is an amazing place with a great lake view we had a great new year weekend and we will try to go back in the summer to enjoy the big back yard next to the lake.

Family get away

Fantastic lake house for a week of recreation and relaxation. House was perfect with an amazing yard and lake. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding and took advantage of golf courses and bike paths in the area. Just what we were looking for!

Lake life here is wonderful

We had a fantastic stay at this home. Lots of room for us to spread out. Two nice bathrooms too. Everything we needed in the kitchen. The view from the bedrooms and living room directly to the lake was icing on the cake!

It would have been nice if there wouldn't have been so many neighbors but the neighbors were all nice. Otherwise it was a very good overall experience.

A very nice stay

The property was just as described. There was enough room for all of the family. The lake was great for kids, shallow enough for them to have fun. The family enjoyed the paddle boards and kayak. Thanks Katie and Bill for a great stay.

beautiful views

This was a 3 generation staycation .From the oldest to youngest everyone had a great time. The paddle broads were a big hit as well as the bean bag toss. Definitely would rent again.

Fabulous stay!

We enjoyed our time! The house was very cute and comfortable. The lake was beautiful. Kids swam right iff the dock, enjoyed the kayak and paddle boards and spent time fishing. The lake is relatively quiet which was perfect for us. Great place to relax and enjoy the lake! Oshkosh and Fond Du Lac are nice towns. We hope to be back soon!

We are from the Chicago suburbs, and feel tied down to this area because of our jobs, family and friends, but have ALWAYS wanted to be in a less crowded, quieter area on the water somewhere. Our solution was to try the best of both worlds with this vacation rental and since we can't always be up north, we want to share our home away from home with you!

We currently live in the Chicago suburbs, so instead of upgrading to a house with a yard in Illinois, why not get a house on Lake Winnebago to enjoy some weekends and share with others on the rest!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The entire outdoor area is what initially attracted us to the home. Beautiful large yard with our own pier located in a quiet cove off Lake Winnebago. The cove is shallow and sandy, great for paddle-boarding / kayaks / swimming. The interior of the home is also quite cozy and comfortable as well, but we enjoy the outdoors the most :)
