Fantastic host who truly went above and beyond for us. They were extremely helpful, accommodating, and responsive. We felt very taken care of and would happily stay again! Short watch to the beach, shops and restaurants

We had a wonderful stay! The condo is located in a beautiful resort with a great pool and an ocean view from the balcony. It had everything we needed for a comfortable vacation. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore all parts of Maui. Beautiful beaches and The Shops at Wailea are just a short drive away. We would definitely stay here again!

This condo has been a great home base for our annual Maui vacation the last few years. The amenities and views it offers combined with the complex and the close proximity to everything in Kihei makes it absolutely ideal. The central location to everything on the island makes all your adventures a breeze to get to as well. The hosts have been fantastic and easy to communicate and work with. Would definitely recommend.

Host was very welcoming and accommodating, as I accidentally messed up the dates but Judy was so easy to work with getting it fixed. Judy was also in the area and was willing to attend to anything we needed, also informed of us of any activities going on. Place was beautiful and stocked with everything we possibly could need.

We had a great time staying here. The unit was very clean and comfortable. This is our 4th time staying at Kamaole sands, as the location is minutes within walking distance to beaches and shops.

Amazing and Convenient

Perfect location

We loved our stay at Kamaole Sands. The location can't be beat. The furnishings are nice and the bed was very comfortable. The lanai offers views of the ocean and sunsets. Great water pressure. Owners were great to deal with. We would love to stay here again!

Great condo, great location

Really lovely condo with great view from the lanai, right across the street from our favorite Maui beach. Condo is well-equipped and furnished. Owner very responsive to a couple questions we had. We look forward to staying again.

My Favorite Place To Stay in Kihei

We first rented one of Judy's units in 2007. Absolutely love the atmosphere, the location and the facilities. We've been back every trip (when the units were available).

Great condo

Judy’s condo was perfect for my stay in Maui! The condo was very clean and had several extra amenities needed for a day at the beach! The condo complex was beautiful and in the perfect location. We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Will definitely book again!

Excellent condo and property

Kamaole Sands is a wonderful property to stay. We return there with every trip and are always happy with the care of the grounds, pool and amenities. The staff is friendly and helpful. Our condo was very comfortable, exactly what we were looking for and we were extremely happy with the location, cleanliness, and supplies in the condo. Judy was amazing and helpful, checking we had everything we needed for a great stay in her condo. We will definitely stay here again!

Great Stay at Kamaole Sands

Judy's condo is the perfect place for a couple to stay. It's clean, with a good kitchen, great lanai to work from and having laundry and a second bathroom is really handy. King bed is really comfortable. It's also right across from a beautiful beach view and is in my favorite part of Kihei, south Kihei just before you hit Wailea. I would totally come back here.

Great location, good condo

We really loved the location of this condo and it had everything we needed (except boogie boards and a fourth chair but we were able to rent them at the pool). The owner was great to deal with and was very responsive. Some may not prefer to look over the pool but we really enjoyed sitting on the lanai and seeing the grounds and pool. The condo could use some updates (bathrooms) but overall that did not affect the wonderful time we had in this condo!

Pool view, upgraded condo on 3td floor

Well socked and maintained, clean and comfortable condo. The back bedroom gets a bit warm so put the fan in the hallway. The days we were there was very windy and could not hang out at the beach. We ended up going to the other side.

Fantastic Condo & Location

We had an amazing stay at Kamole Sands. The condo was very well kept and had everything you need. The property was well maintained and had great views from the lanai of the gardens and pool. We also had ocean view from the lanai. Condo was equipped with beach chairs, umbrella and towels. Elevators were also close by for move-in / out and grocery days which was good to have. Judy was very welcoming and communicated very well. The location I found was great and central to most of what we needed. Staff was very friendly. Definitely want to come back.

Buggy

There were bugs in the condo. Complained and the place was sprayed for bugs. Lasted 2 days and bugs were back. Spent the rest of the time spraying and and roach spray every night.

We are sooo sorry about this and thought it was under control. We have just done a super ultimate deep treatment with the pest company and there should not be ONE bug anyplace! Unfortunately it is the tropics and it is always a challenge with the elements. The guests were lovely and worked with me - they were very understanding.

Birthday Trip

We booked this trip prior to the Lahaina tragedy. Let me add, we ALWAYS purchase travel insurance. We decided to take the wait and approach. We choose to go and glad we did. The message is: Kihei is open and ready to welcome you to Maui. The condo was wonderful. Our host was able to accommodate an early arrival and the condo was ready on our arrival. The unit overlooks the pool and has a partial ocean view. The king bed was very comfortable as was the living area. Plenty of food choices close by and Kamaole III beach is across the street. Beach chairs, umbrella, coolers and snorkel gear provided. The host is very responsive as is the office. We would definitely stay here again.

Uncomfortable

The A/C is in the living room and the bedroom is down a long hallway away from the living room. It was impossible to keep the bedroom cool even with the fans they provided. The hideaway bed is not good for anyone but a small kid maybe. We put the mattress on the floor and that worked better. The pool and hot tub area was nice if you are ok with lots of rules and the area being policed all day by employees. Overall we were not too happy because of the A/C and the pool management. The host was very nice and I hope they take our suggestion and add an A/C unit in the bedroom.

We try our best to make our guests comfortable and have a wonderful experience. I think you may have left the door or windows open while running the air con, which shuts it off. It was very cool (maybe 66) at night. As in hotels, if doors or windows open the air con goes off. I am so sorry for any confusion and have made some little signs to advise guests how to operate. As far as the pool - yes they keep people from bringing glass, and not playing Marco Polo etc to disturb other guests. It really is a beautiful resort with all the amenities on some of the best beaches in all of Maui. Mahalo for your comments and we always learn from our guests. Mahalo

Beautiful condo in a great location!

We stayed at Judy and Bob’s condo for Christmas and New Years vacation and it was an amazing time! The condo was clean and fully stocked with everything that you need. The lanai overlooked the pool and the grounds and it was nice to start off our day with breakfast in the sun. The owners provided beach chairs, an umbrella, and a cooler. Everything you need for the beach! It was a less then 10 minute walk to KAM3 beach which had great snorkeling to the right and a fantastic swimming area with a smooth sandy bottom in the middle of the beach. We saw a momma whale and her baby very close to shore and several sea turtles surfing in the waves right next to us! The condo grounds were well taken care of and the staff was very helpful with anything that you need. It was great to be able to use the gas grills and picnic tables to have dinner at night. Judy and Bob came up and met us with Mai Tai’s in hand and we got to get to know them for a bit. Such as sweet couple! We highly recommend their condo for a couple or family vacation!

Home away from Home

Our 10 night stay did not disappoint! The condo is exactly as the pictures showed, and by the end of our stay, it felt like home. A comfortable base to come back to after our excursions, especially the king size bed in the bedroom. All the appliances were handy and worked well. The grounds, bbq and pool areas are pristine, and the staff at the front desk was so friendly and helpful! Loved to sit on our lanai for coffees and meals, and enjoyed the live music at the pool on Wednesdays. The quick walk to the beautiful Kam 1 & 2 beaches for snorkelling and sunset was perfect, and as advertised, we could see the ocean from our lanai. There were even beach chairs and an umbrella/ beach towels for us to use for the duration of our stay. Very charming Polynesian decor really gave us a “Hawaii” vibe! Our two teens easily shared the pull-out couch, but maybe 2 adults wouldn’t find it as appealing, that is the only negative I can think of. Judy, our host, was easy to communicate with and very responsive. A previous reviewer mentioned insects, but I did not see any, except for maybe outside, where one would expect to see them in a tropical locale! We loved our stay!
