We are a first-generation family from Poland and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. Our family is extremely large and full of traditions. We love to spend time together and create everlasting memories we pass down the generations. Amazing food and time spent with family and friends is the way of life for us. The AK Lodge has created many memories for us and we hope it does the same for you, your families and friends. Whether its a gathering for a holiday, celebration, football game, boxing match, or just a simple getaway from the city it is always better doing it together.
This property does not only have great meaning to us but is also a landmark in Hunter. The AK Lodge use to be part of the Gardner Estate and belonged to the Gardner family.

The AK Lodge has everything you need for a weekend getaway, celebration, family get-together, or reunion. Everyone gets their privacy by having a private bathroom and at the home has plenty of space for everyone to spend time together. Whether it's sharing a drink at the bar and hanging out at the entertainment area or watching a sports event with hot and tasty appetizers made conveniently in the large commercial kitchen. To playing boardgames or singing karaoke with a warm lite fire with an amazing view of Hunter Mountain through the large living room windows. Why stop there when you can take the fun outdoors on the large outdoor patio next to a lit fire or hang out near the small pond enjoying the nature. The opportunities for memories are endless, there is a reason why most of our guests are reoccurring and have been coming back year after year.
