Beautiful Spot for a Family Getaway

The photos do not do justice to how beautiful this property is. With not one but TWO regulation pickleball courts, a huge pool with ample seating, an outdoor bar, fire pit and plenty of lawn games, there is something fun for everyone to do. We hardly wanted to leave! The house comes fully stocked with just about anything you could ask for and more and the owners are extremely friendly and responsive. It’s also very conveniently located within about a mile of the beach and in close proximity to many local restaurants. Our family is already talking about returning to this property next year!

Outstanding Property

This property has it all for a family get together : pool,tennis court,,toys & games for all ages! The kitchen had all accessories anyone needs for cooking meals. Twenty minute walk or 3 minute drive to the beach & restaurants.

Great family vacation!!!

We absolutely loved this home, the pool was amazing & so were the tennis & basketball courts. Eric greeted us at the home & did a complete walk- thru & explained everything that we needed to know. Definitely would rent this again, convenient location to restaurants, stores & the beach. Had everything would could have possibly needed.. Awesome home

Great spot!

We had a wonderful time at this relaxing, well-equipped house in a great location for biking, sailing and swimming. We came with two other couples and had lots of space to hang out together and on our own. Thanks to the homeowners for sharing! They were quick to answer questions, another welcome benefit.

Beat vacation

We all had a great time. House and property was just as pictured. Pool was amazing. We swam from morning till late night with tennis in between. The beach was so close that we tore ourselves away to swim in the ocean and then back to pool. Was definitely worth renting. The kids said it was the best vacation ever.

Best family vacation experience

The property owners Cindy and Eric were great, they were quick to respond to all our questions both before and during our vacation. As a hurricane was coming they offered to shop for us and had the house well supplied. The house, the grounds and the location were perfect for us. We had 6 adults, 3 three year olds, and 1 five year old. The house was big enough to accommodate us all comfortably and the pool was amazing. The online pictures are what you actually get; the house, the pool, the sleeping cabana, fire pit, the tennis court, the basketball court and all the equipment. We all had such a great experience despite the hurricane. A neighbor’s tree came down on the basketball court, nowhere near the house, and Eric came the next day to cut it down and got the fence back up. We all loved the experience. Just pack your clothes and go.

A fantastic retreat and getaway

This home was such a wonderful property to stay for our family/friend vacation and offered something for everyone. From the spectacular outdoor space, with pool and tennis courts, to the tennis ball machine that served as the perfect partner when my husband wanted to play before the rest of us had morning coffee, to the proximity to the beach and all the gear you'd need for a day of fun in the sun. This place had it all! But we also enjoyed hanging out in the house and had everything we could imagine. Cindy and Eric were quick to respond, very helpful and wonderfully kind. We all commented that we've never stayed in a property so well stocked and that felt like home. If you're looking for an extra special getaway - this is the place to choose!

5 star hotel like property

This property is like staying at your own hotel compound. Our group consisted of age ranges from grandparents to babies and the house/grounds accommodate everyone. The pool is huge and impeccably well kept along with tons of seating areas both shaded and non. There is a sectional with a fire pit which made for great late night gatherings and s’more sessions and an insane tennis court and half basketball court. Everything was so well kept with impeccable attention to detail. The house is very clean with an open concept which was great for families with young kids. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you need to cook great dinners and enjoy them on the deck. The house is conveniently located a mile from the beach and many cute restaurants and boogie and surf boards were provided making the beach visits very fun! Eric and Cindy were super responsive and such generous hosts! This was an unforgettable family vacation and we certainly would love to be guests again!

Family Reunion

Loved our stay at this property! The grounds are beautiful and despite the inclement weather, we enjoyed the pool and tennis. The house was immaculate and well stocked. The house is baby friendly with gates on the deck and toys to keep them busy. They also provided a porta crib and high chair. I have stayed at many VRBO properties and have never had as many extras as this property provided. Also, the hosts were so kind and responsive to our needs. I would definitey book this property in the future.

Perfect place for a getaway

The property was everything that was described and more. There was plenty of space and things to do for our family vacation. The location couldn't be better and the amenities that are offered at the house makes it tough to leave. Great time and I would stay again.

Private Resort

Every year our family (kids and grandkids) try to get away for a week together. We have rented places in New Hampshire, Cape Cod, and Lake Champlain in Vermont. This is the second year we have rented this property and again everyone gave it rave reviews. The accommodations are more than adequate but we think the best part is the grounds. You have a beautiful piece of property with a large deck for outdoor dining, your own private pool with lots of seating, a tennis court, and basketball hoop. It's equipped with all the sports equipment (floats, tennis rackets & balls, basketball, football, croquet set) you need. If that's not enough you are a 20 minute walk to one of the best beaches in New England. Odds are we will try to make it a trifecta next year and rent this get away again.

Mom’s Birthday was a hit!

My husband and I booked this rental for our extended family to celebrate my mother’s birthday. Our party included 5 adults, a 15, 12, and (almost) 9 year-old. This house was the perfect place for all of us. Whether it was a morning tennis game, a day at the beach. or night swimming in the amazing pool, this house accommodated all of it! Cindy could not have been more helpful or attentive. We all hope to be back again soon!

Excellent family retreat!

This was a 3 generations vacation, and we all agreed it was an excellent find! With easy access to the beach, lots to do on-site, a nearby movie theater (in the event of a rainy day) and a half hour from Newport - there was always something to keep us busy. With children, having a pool and tennis court was a real plus. The pool is beautiful and very well equipped with both pool floats as well as lots of seating around the pool with umbrellas for shade. In the evening, we took advantage of the fire pit by the pool - skewers for roasting marshmallows were there for our use. We were very happy with the communication we had (as needed) with the owners Cindy and Eric. They were very responsive and respectful and addressed any concerns immediately. We have stayed at several Home Away/Air B&B locations, and very much appreciated that all linen and towels were provided, as well as soaps, laundry detergent ... For any shopping needs, there was a large super market five minutes away. The house itself was lovely. There was seating (both inside and on the deck) for a large number of people. I would say the bathrooms were more than adequate, but a little dated. We used the outdoor shower often - which was great. It should also be noted for people expecting a lot of privacy, the one master bedroom on the second floor is not totally walled; I imagine it had at one point been a loft, so there is one portion of the master that has a half wall and a shade to provide privacy. This is a property we would definitely return to!

Family celebration

Finding a place to accommodate a diverse family group seemed daunting. (geography, drive time, attractions, activities). Everyone had a priority; this property had enough features to please older and younger members, those who wanted to be active and those simply wanting to relax. The house was well equipped with items for pool activity, the beach, cooking and just sitting. It was somewhat more expensive than others appearing similar, but the consensus was that it was worth the stretch. The pool at the house is one of the best maintained pools we have seen. The layout worked well for a young family with a baby, some teens, parents and some solo adults. The house is light, very comfortably furnished and with many spots to retreat if desired. The neighborhood was perfect for a walk to the beach or a quick grocery run as well as proximity to local attractions. Very quiet in the evening and with landscaping that makes it completely private. It seemed to all of us that the owners really thought this house through for renting and genuinely communicated their wish for guests to enjoy the time there. Thank you for a fabulous birthday celebration!

Beautiful House and Property

We enjoyed a week stay at the house. The house and property are just outstanding. The house is large with open areas for plenty of guests. The house is very clean with remarkable attention to every detail. The owners have gone to great lengths to ensure everything that you will need to make your stay perfect is available in the house. The grounds with the pool and tennis court are just amazing and very relaxing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property to friends and family without hesitation.

Narragansett Paradise

Amazing stay with the family! The grounds are like your own little private resort with loads to do with the little ones. We’ve got some lovely new memories playing in the pool, tennis court and unending BBQs. Quick walk to a great playground and less than a mile stroll to the beach. I strongly suspect we’ll be staying again!

Fantastic property and location!!!

I took my family (six adults, one 4 1/2-year-old and two babies) on a week’s vacation in Narragansett. The house was beautiful. The owners could not have been more accommodating. Very helpful and very warm. They gave me recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing. The pool area is unbelievably beautiful. A great pool for adults and little children. You truly felt away and on vacation.There were water toys and boogie boards and sand toys so that I didn’t have to bring mine. It was a truly fantastic location. The house is perfectly situated to be able to get to Newport with no problem. There are lots of little stores nearby in Narragansett so should you need anything, it’s steps away. For a weeks vacation with a big family with multiple interests, I would highly recommend this property. We loved it and again, the owners COULD NOT HAVE BEEN NICER!!! Just a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Great Family Experience

Each year my wife, daughters, son-in-laws, and granddaughters take a family vacation. We have been to New Hampshire, Cape Cod, Lake Champlain, and this year to this great house and property in Narragansett, RI. While all the homes we have rented have been great the consensus was this was the best yet. The accommodations were acceptable and the property with it's pool and tennis court was outstanding. Only minutes from a beach by car, or a 20-25 minute walk, that was just voted by the readers of the Boston Globe as the best in New England. We have already reserved our week for next year.
