Opinion

The condo was clean, comfortable, nicely located. Only two minor issues: the lack of a Pyrex measuring cup, and the absence of a user friendly television setup. There was too much to figure out to watch a program. The YouTube TV required my subscribing to it.

Holiday in Tuscon

Wonderful stay. Katie accommodated us and added extra nights when we needed to extend our vacation. Very comfortable. Location was fantastic.

Beautiful Condo

Location was great, and condo was really well maintained and clean. I really enjoyed staying there. My only issue was the WiFi was spotty so I had to watch TV on my phone instead of the TV. Otherwise I did not have any problems and didn’t need to contact the owner.

Everything was great.Perfect place for us to stay. We were visiting our son who lives in Tucson and this property was close to his home and very convient to all the things we like to do. Hope we can stay here again.

Perfect Place for a Getaway

Wow is all I can say about this property. It was the most well stocked VRBO I have ever stayed at and I've stayed at quite a few. It was so nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset while enjoying a glass of wine and some snacks. The host has really outdone herself. I would stay again at this property any time I wanted to come to Tucson. The only suggestion I would make is to place a couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door so there is additional room to hang up your towels after using them.

Great location

Katie was very responsive and that was helpful. Not Katie’s fault, but the gym was not great. We appreciated a stocked cabinet of towels. The condo bathroom is for tall people so if you have kids or are short. Overall the stay was great and we loved the location.

Great location

This condo unit is in a really good location, one of the best in Tucson, due to the proximity of the La Encantada shopping center. AJ's Fine Foods is within walking distance, which is a big plus for quick meals. Several other restaurants are also in the shopping complex. Tennis courts and the condo's swimming pool are visible from the balcony and are right there. The unit has been updated recently. Notably the color grey seems to be in design vogue all around Tucson right now, and the interior of the unit is very dark, making it seem constrained. The ventilation seemed very restrictive. Having some screens installed would be a good idea to enable bringing in some clean fresh air.

Excellent

This property was exactly as advertised, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The place appeared to be professionally decorated, and had a nice view from the deck. One thing we really appreciated was how quiet it was. We are both swimmers, and the pool was perfect--heated to the right level, and not crowded, especially in the late morning when we were there. Overall, just a very pleasant stay.

Great Tucson Visit

Our visit to this property was wonderful. We were already aware of the benefits of the location from a prior stay at the complex. All of your basic needs are waiting for you and the condo is so well laid out and furnished, it was a pleasure. We thoroughly enjoyed the terrace and it’s views of sunsets and the mountains. Location, location - you can easily walk to La Encantada Mall and enjoy it’s many sores, restaurants, but most of all A J’s Market! We had minimal contact with our host due to their welcome book which contained so much useful information. Plus this also reflects on how well cared for the property is results in a most relaxing vacation. We highly recommend this condo. Marilyn &Paul G.

some disappoinment

Unit was clean/tidy with the exception of some carpeted areas that needed attention. Kitchen was fairly well equipped. Unfortunately, those with chemical sensitivities would have a difficult time upon entering due to the bleach and Lysol smells and there were no screens on the windows/doors so it was difficult to air out. The views of the mountains were partially obstructed by the other buildings. The TV was not cable as described..it was you tube TV and very challenging to watch...could not find LIVE TV in the bedroom and the internet was slow at times disrupting the Live TV you could watch in the living room. The central air heater/ air conditioner was not working on arrival. The owner was responsive and It was fixed quickly the following day but was an inconvenience dealing with the repair man and the chill in the unit overnight. There was a bit of outside noise given the location but not too bad. You had to wear masks in the work out area and there was social distancing in the pool which would be important to disclose up front before anyone makes the reservation. The unit is in an excellent location for dining/shopping/hiking. Unfortunately for us we would not choose this location again

Christmas visit to Tucson

Katie's condo was a lovely place to stay while visiting family in Tucson for Christmas. It had all the amenities we wanted for downtime relaxation. Perfect location, a stone's throw from restaurants and shopping. The Catalina's are just beautiful. And the condo was a wonderful place to view them. Katie was also a fantastic host. Quickly responsive to our questions and most helpful.

Wonderful Stay

The property is located in the Catalina Foothills NE of Downtown Tucson. It is a walkable distance to an upscale shopping district which includes 4 excellent restaurants. Desert hiking is located close by with both Catalina State Park and Sabino Canyon Park within 25 minutes. The condo has been upgraded and faces west on the second level which was awesome for sunsets. The one bedroom is large and the walk in closet is very ample in size. The TV is modern and uses a fire stick etc. for all kinds of options. Ms. Katie was excellent to deal with. We would recommend this condo for any active couple wanting to sample the tourist offerings of Tucson, Arizona. Phil and Brenda Pattison
