Located on Oahu's Leeward coast, this private oceanfront estate in West Oahu boasts views of the Waianae mountain range and Pacific Ocean. Enjoy spectacular sunsets and dramatic surf from this custom west side getaway.

Beautifully remodeled and upgraded in 2007 this 6 BD/4 BA custom built home offers hardwood floors, gourmet granite counter kitchen, luxurious and spacious baths, central A/C system, security system, high ceilings, crown moldings and gorgeous sunsets from the wide, deep lanai. Well maintained, lush landscaping and pretty green lawn roll down to the legal seawall. Dramatic surf and big blue ocean views. Whale watching too!

This lovely oceanfront retreat is located on Oahu's western coast, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. Nearby Makaha Beach is famed for its breathtaking sunsets and warm blue waters. Makaha Hale is perfect for relaxing and recharging as a family after all-day adventures to various other parts of the island.

Air Conditioning:
We find that opening the doors and allowing the tropical breezes to cross ventilate the house is such a treat here in Hawaii…true indoor-outdoor living! However, there is central air conditioning should you desire additional cooling. The temperature should not be set below 70 degrees and should be set to 80 when leaving the home to conserve energy costs. We ask that you turn off when no one will be home.

The property will be made exclusively available to the renter for a full period of 30-days and no one else may occupy the property during that period. Rates based on a 30 day rental period. Please Inquire.

Oahu family vacation - June 2023

We were very pleased with our stay at this property. Very clean and everything we needed was available. The property was true to the listing, and the beautiful yard/lanai view in the pictures is real! Check in/out was very easy and communication with the property manager was simple and unintrusive. The property is nestled in a nice neighborhood, and there is a great family friendly beach very close by. Our only complaint was that the property is a little bit of a distance from everything we wanted to do (Pearl Harbor, North Shore, Waikiki) but that was completely our fault. We still had a great time! Overall great vacation home!!

Amazing property!

We had a wonderful time! The house was perfect for our group of 13, ages 3-70. We even had a cottage for anyone to isolate in in case of sickness. With outdoor seating and screens on doors and windows we felt very safe. Thank you, Ashley!

Family Getaway!

The home was very spacious and easily accommodated our group of 10. The hole is about 25-30 miles from Honolulu itself which doesn’t seem like a whole lot but in the island it takes about an hour because of the low speed limit and traffic. I am taking away a star for the rating because of the location. As a visitor we didn’t realize how far this really is from everything and the island doesn’t have a road that actually goes all the way around the island, so this home is at the point of the island where the road almost ends and there isn’t much to do- other than the local Makaha beach (which is fairly small but beautiful.) We had to drive one hour each way regularly for any tourist thing, and about 30 minutes or so for nice restaurants. Second star was lost because of cleanliness, although house at first site is clean it needs some detailing, some bed sheets were a little spotted, shower curtain was pretty filthy and needs a change, couch had stains, a lot of stuff in the pantry but things are expired (some over a year.) The house also could use some attention as some furniture looks pretty worn and floors are really scratched. For the price of the home I would’ve liked to see these things in better shape. If the house can get some attention and perhaps was a bit closer to the attractions, even 20 minutes closer I would say this house is perfect and I’d stay again.

Enjoyable relaxing stay with friends

Easy to rent and use. Good communication. Ocean views but no ocean access to speak of, and beach is a drive to for our olde group and not a walk place. Overall we had a good time to kick back and just visit with friends during these civid times.

Exactly what we hoped for!

This property is right on the ocean. A huge outdoor dinning table allowed our group to dine and reflect together on the day's events while enjoying sunsets and the sounds from the ocean waves. We saw several sea turtles daily and a few monk seals and dolphin pods during our stay. The home is spacious and clean with all needed amenities and then some. We enjoyed the close proximity to many beaches, walks and hikes. The property managers, Katrina and Erick, were quick and positive in responding to our needs. We will definitely be back!

Amazing views and sunsets!!!!

Beautiful house on an amazing spot!! The views from the house and balcony are just gorgeous!!!! Only complaint was the outdoor grill did not work and needs to be replaced. Truly enjoyed our 11 days relaxing at the house. Thank you!

Great property.. well appointed. Managers are friendly and helpful.

Spacious house with a beautiful back porch looking at the water. Well appointed kitchen. My only very minor comment is it would be nice to have more places to hang towels. With bath towels and beach towels hanging them to dry is a problem. Otherwise, my family loved their stay .here

Too far away from everything

We stayed for two weeks at the Makaha property. The house is beautiful and has a fantastic view of the ocean. We saw turtles everyday and even a monk seal on our last day! There is not a beach behind the house and you cannot access the water-- there's a very nice beach about 1/2 mile away. The downside of this property is that it is on the far west side of the island and isn't close to anything. Anytime we went somewhere it was an hour to an hour and half drive. There are also A LOT of homeless people around this area. I don't think that we would stay here again. We would use Elite Property Rentals again, however!

We absolutely loved our stay at makaha in this beautiful cosey house. It's so close to Yokohama and Makaha beach our favorite beachs in all of Hawaii. Beautiful sunsets lots of space for our large family sweet neighbors all around. You don't have to go anywhere just staying in the most beautiful place on Oahu and not touristy at all . Thank you to Katrina and staff for a lovely relaxing time in Makaha Aloha
