We use professional photography for the home, so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. As is standard in the vacation rental industry, we provide a starter amount of toiletries and other essentials which we do, and once that amount is out, it's typical for the guest to purchase more supplies. We have relayed your comments to the homeowner, and they would like to provide some additional information for you: -"Regarding the windows and air conditioner, we understand your concerns, and we want to assure you that we are working within the complex covenants set by the homeowner's association. -The bedroom windows are jalousie windows, which may not provide the same level of tightness as other window types. However, we want to inform you that the HOA board of directors is currently in the process of changing the rules to include single-pane or sliding windows as replacement options. Once these changes are implemented, we will take full advantage of the opportunity to upgrade the windows for improved insulation and guest comfort. -As for the air conditioner, we recently replaced the unit due to a failure of the previous one. However, we faced challenges in finding the specific air conditioner we desired due to supply chain constraints and limited availability on the island. Many property owners in the complex are also eagerly awaiting the availability of preferred units. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the manufacturing and distribution of these units, leading to delays. It's important to note that the HOA does not permit split units as an alternative option, despite their potential benefits. We genuinely appreciate your understanding and patience in this matter.
