Pointe West Galveston - Beach Club - Dogs Welcome

Heron House is located at the beautiful Pointe West resort on the west end of Galveston Island. Pointe West is a master planned development with private beach and is a one-of-a-kind location on the island. Our home is backs to a relaxing water feature and is a 5 minute walk to the beach. You also have access to resort-style amenities at the Beach Club with pools, a lazy river, hot tub, nature walk, restaurant, bar, fitness center, pickleball, bike rentals, and more! The Beach Club charges $25.00 per person (4 and older) for the length of your stay.

Our home is designed to make you and your family comfortable. Smart TVs are in the living room and all three bedrooms. We have the fastest WiFi speed available on the island. Feel free to pack light, we have a washer and dryer for you to do a quick load of laundry.

Downstairs in the garage you will find everything you need for the beach; chairs, canopy tent, boogie boards and a wagon to take it all with you. You will also find a patio underneath the house complete with picnic table, chairs, hammock, and a charcoal grill for your use. For those of you with small children, we have a stroller and pack-n-play for your convenience.

Seven Seas Grocery Store is the closest fully stocked grocery store and is 7 miles from the house. The Strand, Pleasure Pier, Academy Sports, Walmart, Randalls, and the rest of Galveston is approximately 30 minutes from the house.

Great house and location. Resort pool and game room made it extra sweet for 4 teen boys. Laura communicated with us to ensure we had everything needed. 5 star experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at the Heron House. It was the perfect size for us (6 adults and a child) and was stocked with everything we needed and more. We have stayed in many rental homes, and this one was much more than we expected. A close and easy walk to the beach and also being able to take the golf cart to the Beach Club and lazy River pool made it feel like a true resort vacation. Thanks again for everything, we hope to be able to come visit again!

We enjoyed our stay here. The home was just as described. The host was easily accessible. The golf cart was a bonus. Plus, the host accepts pets. The amenities were super. We will definitely be back.

Best vacation home ever! So clean and well stocked! The pools were very nice too! My parents were celebrating 60 years of marriage and it was perfect for our family get together!

This place had everything you could want. The only thing we had to get was our food for meals. Every season you needed was in the pantry and coffee ready to use. I highly recommend this place.

This house is in the cutest community and is well stocked with all the necessary essentials! A few minor items need to be attended to (a toilet running, shower door sticking) but overall, just a lovely stay!

Great Stay!

Really enjoyed staying at this house. We always love the beach club and come to this area annually. The golf cart made the stay extra fun this year. Everything was great and we will look to stay in this house again next year.

Family Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is has everything you could possibly need or want. It is convenient to all the amenities at Pointe West and to the beach. We love this area since it is not overcrowded with tourists like downtown Galveston.

We grew up visiting the island and are so excited to continue those visits and traditions with our three children and numerous family members. We are also excited to host visitors to share our love for the island.

The community feels like a throwback in time to a simpler life where you can relax and enjoy the outdoors - from walks on the sidewalk or the sunset drives on the golf cart. Pointe West is a master planned community where you can enjoy a full resort experience on the less crowded part of the island.
