This was our second stay at Kevin’s Burrill Lake View Cottage, and it was as memorable as our first stay. We were blessed with great weather, which enabled us to take advantage of the many local attractions. As we travel with our small dog, the fact that the cottage is pet-friendly is such a bonus. The cottage itself is cosy and comfortable and has every conceivable amenity - even fishing rods for those who want to throw a line in. It has a lovely backyard for the dog, and the trees are host to cockatoos and rainbow lorikeets. The famous local bakery and fish and chip shop is a few minutes’ walk away, as is the Lions Park and Racecourse Beach. I have no doubt that we will be staying here again in the future.

I’m a return customer (2nd time) purely for the experience i received from my 1st stay. The holiday home is gorgeous, full of character and charm. This little cottage is my favourite place on the south coast and will definitely be back again. We were blessed with the weather, not a drop of rain, only sunshine. Kevin was amazing, our communication was a pleasure as always.

We had a lovely stay. Kevin provided great recommendations for local food, coffee and places to see. He was very responsive during our stay. The house was charming and the back yard was perfect for our dog to run around in!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property. Perfect location with fantastic view of the Lake. The home had everything you needed & more. The Cottage is beautifully decorated, cosy & clean. The gardens are gorgeous, lots of love & care has been put into this home. We truly felt comfortable & at home. Communication with our Host Kevin was on point & he answered all our questions promptly. The fish shop & bakery both delicious & within walking distance. We were pleasantly surprised & shall return to visit again. Thank you Kevin for all your help & hospitality.

Couldn’t change anything with the property. Everything was fantastic more than I expected. The host was extremely easy to communicate with very friendly and gave us heaps of tips and nothing was a problem. We definitely 100% stay here again and highly recommend to anyone.

The host was very helpful with lots of information. The house was comfortable and was nicely decorated with art and contained everything needed for our stay. The yard was a good size for our dogs.

Wonderful stay!

This was a beautiful little house to stay in. The owner was super helpful and made sure we were comfortable and had knowledge of where to eat and what to do while we stayed. Can't wait to come back.

Cute littel cottage, there was just the 2 of us and our puppy. Easy to go out for walks from the cottage as well as short drives to towns and cafes nearby

Our family of 4 plus dog loved this house. Air con kept us cool, grea backyard for the dog and kids, and early morning coffee. Great location near coffee, beaches, rivers, waves or snorkeling- whatever takes your fancy. House stocked with all the basics (salt and pepper, toilet paper, cling wrap, linen). Kevin is a very thoughtful host and we definitely hope to stay again. Jan 2026

Pet friendly getaway

Good place to get out of Sydney for a break with the missus and the dog. Beautiful little holiday cottage, garden is private and beautifully maintained. Close to the lake and many beautiful surf beaches.

Cute cottage

Cute little cottage with everything one needs, plus close to beaches and amenities. Our pup loved the back yard and walks to the inlet for a swim.
