We really enjoyed the views, access to beach, the shops close by and great value for money. The accomodation was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. The extra large dining table was great for board games when the weather wasn’t so great, even for our 2 family sized group. The detached building was a favourite for the teens. Access to food options e.g. pizza etc. only a short distance up the road, very convenient.

Wedding getaway

The property is really all about the location, beautiful ocean views. Walk from back door across the walkway to beach. Close to shopping. The house is comfortable but basic.

Family wedding

We ended up having an intimate family wedding on the deck with a stunning backdrop, due to a storm changing our original plans of Botanical Gardens. Perfect location. The only complaints about the house were high hard pillows, bring your own!

Great location

Cottage needs some work, especially the kitchen and bathroom, handle on toilet door broke and had to be left off , dirty linen and towels left in cottage and we had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Plenty of cutlery etc in kitchen of main house but cupboards smell very musty. Also work in the kitchen around the sink would be good. Great for a few days but don't know if I would stay longer, the best thing was the location 5 minutes from shops and straight down to the beach and fantastic view from back deck.

Disappointed

The accommodation didn’t meet my standards, I struggled to sleep, had to check out on Wednesday instead of Thursday loosing one night since I couldn’t take the smell of the cottage for another night.

Family getaway

My husband and I, our daughters, their partners and our granddaughter stayed at On the Beach in Vincentia to celebrate 2 birthdays and Father’s Day. We couldn’t have picked a better location or weekend! We’ve stayed many times in the area over the years so we knew the house was in a fantastic location and each day we woke to a spectacular sunrise over the bay. The house itself was spacious and styled really well, everyone said the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had more than enough crockery, cutlery and cookwear to last us through a long weekend. Despite it being quite a windy weekend, the water in the bay was flat and since it was unseasonably warm there were quite a few swims followed by hanging out on the back deck watching the world jog by on the walking path below. My husband and I stayed in the separate studio and sure, the bathroom, kitchen etc. might be a bit dated but it all adds to the overall charm of the property, and really, the most important things are that the beds are great, the showers strong and the company is good. The only negative was that the dusty Venetian blinds and spider webby windows in the bedrooms were in stark contrast to the presentation in the rest of the house but it’s not like we were inconvenienced by this, just thought I should point it out.

Great weekend away

Would book again it was just what we were after a quite weekend to relax. Kids were in back cabin feeling like they were camping in there own. All adults in main house hardly heard the word mum it was great. If anything bad needs up to date cooking equipment and more detail to deep cleaning

Perfect family holiday location

Fantastic location, perfect for lazing on the balcony and enjoying the view or for getting kids out for a ride on the bike path. Love this place.

Wet weather wonder

Our twice delayed family gathering was again plagued by wet weather but this lovely house coped with the rain and gave us a cosy place to celebrate all the Covid delayed birthdays, baby news and family events. The view of the bay is wonderful and the space to relax, play games and cook was wonderful. We even managed to go for long walks with our dog. A wonderful pet and family friendly accommodation

Wonderful holiday House

Exceptional position for a real relaxing holiday even though it rained most days for our weeks stay Only disappointment was front yard was not fully fenced and our dog could get out easily through side fence so we couldn’t relax when dog was out Very clean. Would stay again

We dislike having to process bond claims but unfortunately when guests do not leave the property in a satisfactory manner we have to do so. There are no ticks in the house but of course there would be in the nearby bushland.

Perfect location

Had a great stay over 4 nights. The location in amazing. Only small changes would be to make sure there are enough necessities for a large group for the time e.g. toilet paper and dishwashing tablets.

The right place for a relaxing holiday.

A great stay for the long weekend-perfect location, great amenities and close by to the shops, beach and walking/cycle way. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to be back again in the future.

Amazing location with picturesque views. Felt in love with this place instantly.

We stayed 3 days 2 nights, it's literally the beach on your door step, however the beach is no dogs allowed. The kids loved waking up going down to the beach collecting shells, riding their bikes down the track. We must say perfect location house was big enough to accommodate us. There is two separate house which works out perfectly. Thank you for an amazing weekend !!! Ps. We even saw dolphins swim by !!

Lovely location

Loved our stay. Very family friendly. Could do with a tiny upgrade on carpet and few things around the place but it was still an enjoyable time with family
