This house was everything we needed for a week away. The property had not been cleaned upon our arrival, but Bryan was very helpful and quick to get things cleaned and give us plenty of recommendations in town while we waited. There is no shortage of things to do, we played some pool, enjoyed the hot tub and grilled up some dinner. Couldn’t haven’t asked for a better trip. Would definitely recommend this place to a friend and we plan on returning one day.

Wow! Wonderful Easter Break in the Rockies

Absolutely perfect location and property for our family of 6 Easter vacation (mom, dad, 3 adult sons and grandma). Close enough to Boulder for supplies and things to do but tranquil idyllic mountain location with plenty of spread out space for all! Pool table, hot tub and gym were a huge hit with the three 20-something boys - they also were impressed with the views of the Rockies and night sky!Absolutely loved this property and Bryan was super helpful as well!

Beautiful oasis

My family and I had a great stay here. The home was beautifully decorated and the views were immaculate. The hosts were incredibly kind, accommodating, and helpful.

Great getaway close to Boulder

Perfect place close to CU graduation events but away from the crowds. Peaceful place in the hills and trees. Great views from floor to ceiling windows.

The hills outside of Boulder

We rented this home because of the views. It is located outside of Boulder and has beautiful views of the nearby Flatiron mountains. It has very comfortable outdoor seating. A hot tub. The pool table was a lot of fun. The ambience of the house was top notch.

Perfect mountain getaway in Boulder

We enjoyed 10 days at this beautiful property while visiting our son at CU. The location felt so removed from everything and yet it was only a 20 minute drive to downtown Boulder. The views from almost every room are incredible. The house is well appointed and had everything our group of 6 needed. Brian, the property contact, and his wife, Cindy, are phenomenal. Any questions or issues were quickly answered. Communication/service was exceptional. Highly recommend.

Excellent Colorado Mountain Home

Sorry this review is a year delayed. Just realized I never left feedback! What a great visit we had to Colorado and the home was great! Loved the view, the home, the furnishings, the pool table. Especially appreciated the neighbor who looked in on us and provided us with fresh hummingbird food. Loved watching the hummers coming by for a snack during the day. Great proximity to Boulder and not a long drive to Rocky Mountain National Park and other great hiking locations! Would love to come back and stay at this wonderful home again someday. Quintessential Mountain Home

We stayed here on vacation in July of 2025 and loved it so much that when we had the opportunity to return to the area a short time later, we didn’t want to stay anywhere else. This house is nestled up high in the mountains and has beautiful views from its many decks. For us, location is everything when traveling, and we wanted someplace close to Boulder, but also close to hiking trails and nearby attractions. It was a 20 or so minute drive to the Pearl Street Mall, the social hub of Boulder, and 20 - 45 minutes from many local attractions.The house is beautifully designed and felt very unique. It features a lot of vintage furniture. It is on multiple levels with the well appointed kitchen on the lower level adjacent to a large living area with a TV that includes NetFlix. The master is huge and has an ensuite bathroom. The two other bedrooms share a large bathroom off the main hall that has two sinks and a shower. We got a personal greeting and tour of the house upon our arrival which we appreciated, and does not often happen with a lot of properties.The owners obviously pay attention to the details of providing a wonderful experience for their guests. When we return to the Boulder area, we hope to stay here again. The house was everything we wanted in a mountain home.I highly recommend this home. You will not be disappointed by its location, mountain views, amenities, comfort, and style. I also thought that it was fairly priced for all that it offered.

Less than meets the eye

I am a vacation rental owner that lists on this site as well as on another site, so I am giving you an honest review, and I know what a rental should look like to a guest. Summary: Look elsewhere if you want to spend this kind of money. First, the pictures are far better than the actual place, yet the location was fantastic. The place was filthy as our socks and bare feet told the story. The "chef" kitchen was nice but looks like it was stocked by the "Swedish Chef" from the Muppet Show. The oven was dirty, and the drawers/cabinets looked like they just threw everything from across the room, and the items bought from a yard sale. There were leftovers in the fridge, and some of the food in the cabinet was far past expiration. The Sonos sound system was great, but don't play the music on the deck after 8pm or a neighbor woman will scream at you from her deck. (This rule was not in the handbook). The advanced lighting system is a mess, never knowing what will turn on, where or when. Also, they shouldn't even show the observatory in the pictures because you cannot use it. Finally, when we took the linens off the beds, the mattress cover was dirty and stained, and the pillows were yellowed by sweat..ewe. They left us one roll of paper towels and had to use toilet paper when it ran out and there was no soap or shampoo to be found anywhere. When treating a guest, you try and think of everything a guest could need to the smallest detail, and a spotless environment with fresh linens. I charge 250 a night and you can eat off the floors. Once again, this place is expensive (I paid over 700 a night). With that kind of price, it should be exquisite. Instead, expect Motel No-Tell with this place. Take a pass, you will be glad you did. One last thing. We just got married on the day the lady screamed at us at 8:20pm.

Hi Rick, we always appreciate hearing from our guests, but the homeowner would like to take a moment to clarify a few things raised in your review: - We use professional photography so the features you see on the listing are as advertised. - We use a professional cleaning company that always does a thorough job preparing the home between guests, and the local Guest Contact ensures the refrigerator is clean. - Additionally, the Guest Contact meets each guest when they arrive and walks them through the home to familiarize them with the property and answer any questions. - While we want our guests to enjoy their stay here, we also need them to respect our house rules. Unfortunately, we got several complaints from neighbors about your group's noise level. We were also disappointed to hear about the way you spoke to the Guest Contact when they were trying to help resolve things. - An explanation of how to use the lights and guidelines around noise and music are in the Welcome Book. Also, the listing clearly states the observatory is not available for guest use. - We checked the mattresses and didn't find any stains. - We also confirmed that the home was stocked with several unopened packs of toilet paper/paper towels, and each bathroom had a fresh roll of toilet paper. The owners work hard to provide an ideal stay for all guests, and we look forward to this home hosting many happy travelers!

Rest & Relaxation

This was the perfect place to relax and hit the reset button! My husband and I (along with our couple friends) all came out to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversaries. Life has been busy for us all, so this mountain home was exactly what we needed! Bryan did an amazing job with restaurant & hiking suggestions. The back porches are wonderful- comfortable seating with a beautiful view. The house is in the mountains, but only a 15-20min drive to downtown Boulder. It also offered a newly renovated & well stocked kitchen. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot!

We loved this home. It felt comfortable, it was spacious and the views were like heaven! Bryan the property manager was very thorough and the drive to Boulder was really easy. We will be back and loved our time in this home!!!

Perfect House

We had a great stay in Boulder. Bryan reached out prior to our arrival and met us at the house for check in. The tour and information were very helpful. The house was spacious, well appointed and comfortable. We enjoyed both inside and outside living spaces. Our family that we were visiting was just 3 miles away so it was so convenient for us going back and forth. I highly recommend this property and we would definitely book it again in the future.

Luxe Mountain Living

We stayed here for a month, and would happily stay here again. Awesome sound system and great place to just hang and enjoy friends and family. High-end kitchen perfect for professional chefs (we had a couple) as well as for home cooks. Far enough up the mountain to feel like you’re really away, but close enough to retail. No food delivery (DoorDash etc) but no problems receiving Amazon/other deliveries. Lovely place!
