Perfect house for a get away. Cozy but enough room to have a gathering. Great kitchen, beautiful outdoors, wonderful sunroom. Couldn't of asked for a better host.

The place was great. Super clean. Has all the amenities that you need for a comfortable stay. Everything is labelled nicely. Close to a lot of nice places to visit. Communication with the host was great. Would definitely stay here again. Amazing cottage vibes.

This home is excellent for groups of friends or families getting together. There are several gathering spaces in the chalet for people to hang out and chat, play games or just relax. The chalet is tastefully decorated which makes it very interesting and charming. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped.The chalet offered a meal service with a good menu of options. The selection we picked was excellent! Kudos to the chef!! Everyone enjoyed the meal. This is an added benefit as it reduces the amount of food you need to plan and bring with you. The host was very responsive, friendly and easy to work with.We had a great stay for 3 nights and would recommend it to anyone.

My group and I try to get away at least once during the summer and have stayed in several vacation rental. When I came across this listing, I was immediately attracted by the cost, compared to what we had rented in the past. I made a request to book the chalet and the host Dee, responded immediately. Dee was very helpful in helping us plan our vacation. Dee provide suggestions of activities and things to do on our vacation. On the day of our arrival Dee made our check in process very easy, from providing directions to the chalet and checking in. We were immediately impressed by the property, the cleanliness of the place and the accommodations. We had a kitchen with all of the things that you will need, four spacious bedrooms, and lots of space indoors and outdoors for us to enjoy the property fully. I will definitely recommend the place for small to medium group, ours was 9 people and the accommodation was great. I would like to thank the host, Dee maybe if we ever plan to visit that way again I will definitely stay there again. Sewkumar.

Beautiful home!

We loved staying at Dee’s home for a weekend in May. The home was very comfortable, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. Dee was a pleasure to work with. We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect space for a family getaway

We loved our stay during Family Day weekend. The property was very clean when we arrived. The space is very comfortable and spacious. We loved the close walking proximity to the ski hill. We really enjoyed our time away and will be booking again!

Exceeded our expectations

We love everything about this place. From the large king beds to heated bathroom floors. Great space for a large group, including a screened in sun porch if someone needed to get away from the group for some quiet time. The only problem was the weather and only staying for 3 nights.

Comfortable, cozy and the complete package!

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at this beautiful property. It was exceptionally stocked with all of the amenities you would need, and the house itself was super clean, cozy and comfortable. Dee was extremely helpful with any questions we had. I would recommend this property for families, friends or couples wanting to get away and enjoy the beauty of Huntsville.

Ironman weekend

Beautiful house and location for the Muskoka Ironman 2023 Dee was wonderful to work with for all the details of this big race weekend. The house and property far exceeded our expectations. Hope to be able to come back next year with our family and friends!

Enjoyable

This property was exactly as advertised. It was clean, comfortable and well equipped. The interior is lovely with modern appliances and a relaxing atmosphere. The host answered our questions promptly although we had no major problems anyway. The visiting deer were an added bonus every morning we were there. We had a nice, relaxing stay.

Dees house was perfect for our group, as it provided good separation between floors and lots of space for everyone and bathrooms. It was perfectly located for getting around where we needed. I think given we were likely the last group of the summer there so some things were starting to go, like the fire alarm and some of the utensils/kitchen items but that’s understandable. Also a scary wasp nest above the ground floor but that’s not anyone’s fault!

Multi-Generation Vacation

Beautiful property -- lots of evidence of recent renovations. The layout of the house was perfect for our family: Master with ensuite + 2 bedrooms with a shared bath upstairs; Second master with ensuite in the lower level. Large and functional kitchen and lots of shared living space. The information in the listing about distance to the beach was accurate: 2 minute drive and a 10 minute walk. We used the beach a lot and found it accessible and well-maintained. We really enjoyed our 12-day stay.

We had a lovely stay at Dee’s cottage. It was very tranquil surrounding by tall trees. The fire pit area in the yard was so cute with beautiful string lights surrounding. Lots of wood available for the fire pit as well which was super helpful. It was so great having 3 separate bathrooms for our large group. We had 2 families staying so we all had plenty of room for our toiletries and weren’t tripping over each other for a toilet! It was great. Perfectly fresh and soft towels were neatly folded for us on arrival! Shampoos, conditioners, body wash and hand soaps were available which was so great for us since we had packed very lightly. The beds were cleans and comfortable. Plenty of pillows available. The crib in the one bedroom was an added bonus for us since we have a 2 month old. There was a change table attached to the crib which was even better. They even had extra baby lotion, diaper cream, wipes, and baby bath soap. Even a baby bath tub was available which was perfect for us. Also in the crib room was a nursery rocking chair which was so comfortable and so needed during the night wakings for our little one. The living areas were nice and open. The kitchen was very inviting. We had many of lovely meals spent around the dining table. Loads of plates, pots, pans, bowls, utensils available. My only complaints are how close to the road the house is in terms of the noise. Also the washer and dryer weren’t available for use. Dee was a very kind and communicative host

Home away from home

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful chalet nestled in beautiful green woods and 2 minute drive to a lovely private sandy beach. Dee was a very welcoming host and made sure that we had what we needed to make our stay comfortable :) the chalet is beautifully decorated, plenty of clean linens, towels paper products .... every room has been set up to ensure guests have what they need for a comfortable stay. My kids loved the basement with plenty of games and we all really enjoyed the sunroom and fire pit beautifully decorated with lights... guaranteed to create some good family memories here! Thank you Dee.... we will definitely be back :)
