Ideally situated close to the heart of Myrtleford, Yanalen places you just a leisurely stroll from the bustling town centre, its vibrant cafes, and local delights. Step directly onto the picturesque Rail Trail, perfect for cycling or walking adventures, ensuring you’re perfectly positioned to explore all the High Country has to offer.

Inside, Yanalen is thoughtfully furnished for your utmost comfort, ensuring a pleasant stay year-round. Gather around the inviting wood heater on crisp evenings for a ideal country experience, or utilize the split system for comprehensive climate control. All three elegantly appointed bedrooms feature electric heaters for added warmth and ceiling fans for balmy summer nights. The bedding configuration includes two comfortable Queen beds and two single beds, comfortably accommodating up to 6 guests.

The cottage is fully equipped for a seamless and self-sufficient stay. Enjoy entertainment with a Smart TV and complimentary Wi-Fi. The comprehensive kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, plus all necessary glassware, pots, pans, plates, and cutlery – perfect for preparing home-cooked meals. An iron and ironing board are also provided for your convenience.
We warmly welcome your furry family members! A secure, pet-friendly backyard allows your four-legged companions to safely explore while you relax in the peaceful surrounds. For the active traveler, an invaluable large double garage offers ample and secure storage for trail bikes, motorbikes, kayaks, or snow gear – making Yanalen the ideal base for your High Country adventures.

Charming holiday house

Central location

Perfectly located to walk into town or join the cycling rail trail. Secure yard for dogs to stay and lock up garage for bike storage.

Great Pet and Family Friendly accomodation

It was a great property for our family and two dogs. It was good to know the dogs were safe in the backyard and house provided everything we could need. Including storage of our bikes in the garage.

We arrived after dark to a beautiful warm lit up cozy house, every room was snuggly warm, perfect stay with our doggos, location perfect for our snow holiday with local friends

Stay

Cute house. Heating on arrival. Very clean and tidy. Great communication with agent. Couldn’t be more helpful. A couple of minor things like a large pasta saucepan and more sharp knives would be useful in the kitchen but not a huge issue. It was particularly cold weather when we stayed and should have lit the fire but didn’t. So would recommend that to anyone else staying. Overall a good stay there. Thanks

Not bad, but not amazing

Our first impression of the home was positive, however upon giving our kids a bath we found dirty staining and cracks in the bathtub. On our first night someone tried to break into our car (parked in the driveway). Whilst the house was quite homely and heaters were turned on prior to arrival

In regards to the property it is has been loved and although not perfect or brand new it is still full of warmth, character and a wonderful spot to stay within Myrtleford. Family snow trip

Had an amazing 2 night stay. Was very warm and cosy. A bit of pet hair around under couches in the corners if your allergic. Apart from that very clean.

Beautiful, classic house in the heart of Myrtleford

Loved our weekend stay at this house. Classic, tidy, warm house and nice backyard for our dogs. Walking distance to the town centre and about 25 mins drive to Bright. Would definitely stay again.

great break from sydney

House very cozy in cold with the fire going (but remember to bring an axe for firewood)- also appreciated the large garage with all the heavy rain. Back yard secure and great for our husky. Great central location for access to ski fields and other adjoining areas. Would recommend as a great alpine country stay

Could do with a few extra touches

The house is clean and comfortable but with the bare minimum of everything and a few things missing. The addition of some dishwasher tablets or powder, any sort of coffee making equipment (even a small plunger), some small extra bowls and a bread knife (we bought one and left it there) would make this property much easier to stay in. Having the minimum number of everything means that you either can’t use the dishwasher or you run it almost empty which is wasteful.

Myrtleford magic

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well appointed, near and clean home. Close to the heart of Myrtleford, and a good starting point to explore all the high country offers. We had a running event in Bright to watch, but enjoyed many other sights too.
