Holly Ellen was very kind and made every effort to make our stay most enjoyable. Would have been an additional benefit to have the pool heated and I would have offered to pay to have her do so assuming the heater worked (not sure). However spa heat worked well. Yard and views were fantastic and location in the Covenant ideal.

Great Place to Stay

Great location, amazing views and privacy. Great pool and jacuzzi. Great for a family. Only a 10-15 minute drive to Encinitas. A five minute drive to the town. We would definitely stay there again.

We had a great time on our second stay. It’s beautiful, has everything you need and is so comfy. We will be back for a 3rd time absolutely.

Top of Morning to Premier Super Host, The Property is and was a great place to have a small conference overlooking: The views of Ranch Santa Fe in its finest! This is the second time I have stayed at this beautiful property. I love incredible views of the Ranch Santa Fe's privacy, quiet, and lush surroundings. It is a very spacious relaxing home, and the opening patio doors are sensational. Colleagues of mine enjoyed watching the hot air balloons just before sunset. Additionally, the host made arrangements for us to play on the RSF Golf Course which was a treat in itself. Moreover, The Host recommended Great Restaurants within 15 minutes of the beautiful sunset Del Mar beaches and nice walks In a Super safe location. Holly, your home is our home away from home. Relaxing and quiet

The property was absolutely beautiful just like shown in the pictures. A very quiet and relaxing location with stunning views. Holly was very hospitable and attentive to any questions/requests and went out of her way to make us feel welcome. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation.

A Gem

Photos don’t do it justice. Feels cozy and warm. Views are incredible in every room. Holly and the dogs are gracious. We plan to come back!

Amazing!!

This home is clean and well-kept is has amazing views. The owner is wonderful and responsive. The pool is absolutely amazing. We used it every day multiple times. Truely a peaceful and tranquil retreat. Highly recommend

Beautiful classic California RSF property

This is an older classic Rancho SF property. We stayed in the main house which has 2 bedrooms each with attached bathrooms. We love the beautiful homes in that area, so it was fun to be part of the community for a few days. We spent a lot of time just hanging out poolside. Host was very friendly.

Best Place Ever!

We had no idea what Ranch Santa Fe was when booking this house. Boy were we surprised! This place is heaven on earth. So much greenery everywhere and the weather was perfect. This house is amazing. We were able to open the windows and feel the breeze cool the house. The pool was perfect and the host is super friendly. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

The Gilmores were ideal guests for our Air BNB. They were easygoing and friendly. They totally fit into the setting and left the house immaculate. I hope they return. It doesn't get much better!

Wow!!

Holly’s place is just an incredible breathe of fresh air and a beautiful escape nestled in Rancho Santa Fe with incredible views. I stayed on the property with my 2 kids age 8 and 6 and we all had an amazing time. Holly is so warm, welcoming and inviting! We felt the utmost privacy, safety and calmness while we were there. The linens, beds and pillows are top notch and so comfortable! We can’t wait to go back. Thank you Holly!

great for R&R!

Our family stayed at Holly's place for close to a week and had a lovely visit. We travel to San Diego often but have never stayed in Rancho Santa Fe. Holly's place is private and tranquil, nicely landscaped and has a spectacular view. My daughter enjoyed exploring the property and spending time in the beautiful pool and hot tub. We had a minor hiccup with the hot tub and Holly took care of the matter immediately. Holly is very kind and was a wonderful host. :)

The Beautiful Treasure of Rancho Santa Fe

Upon arrival I was welcomed into this beautiful home that was so warm and inviting. The decor was breathtaking and the views from every angle of the property were just amazing. The landscaping, the sunrise, and the sunset. There are so many wonderful attractions in the San Diego area , Los Angeles is just two hours away and Tijuana, Mexico is a short drive, but I found myself wanting to stay and just enjoy the beautiful Rancho Santa Fe. The bedding, the towels, and everything provided by these amazing hosts were top notch. This is a home away from home that you will never want to leave. I can't wait to visit again.

Surprised! Exceeded Expectations!

Everything was as in the photos and very private and quiet all throughout my stay. The pool area was amazing to relax at as were the seemingly endless gardens all throughout. The host was very attentive to my needs and very hospitable. I recommend this place to anyone looking to getaway from the noise. It was very close to the center of RSF, a few minutes from the beach and a nice drive to San Diego. The views all throughout were unparalleled — whether views towards the lush valley or views of the gardens! Flowers and trees were scattered all around the property. The bed was super comfortable and the bathroom was spa-like. It was the best sleep I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to return for another stay!

Surprised

The description that is given about the property is all accurate other than the den being described as a place of relaxation after a long day. The chairs had to be switched over and managing the tv was a problem along with the heating & cooling system. There was no instructions for either which caused frustration. I’m sure the issues will be taken care of as the owner is very hospitable and responsive. The big surprise however was that I was not aware that the owner lived in the basement of the house when I rented it. She resides in the lower part of the house by the pool with her dog which was not revealed in the description or anywhere on the site. I was aware by the advertisement that other guest may be staying in the guest house on the property but not aware of the owner being present and living in the house. Another surprise was how beautiful the surroundings were as well as the home itself. The pictures of the place do not capture all the beauty in the home and outside of it. Although the surroundings are beautiful , because there is home being built just below the constant noise during the weekdays was annoying.

Richard, thank you for your feedback. The Smart TV has been changed over to ROKU which is guest friendly. I will leave directions on how to use the NEST for the smart heating and air conditioning system. The unit below the main house is more than a basement. It is a separate and lovely apartment with no access to the main house. At times it is rented and is called "Las Vistas" in case you would like to book it in the future. Fortunately, everyone on this 3-acre property has their own very private and quiet space. All three spaces are available with the proper booking and they all have their own separate and very private entrances.
