An amazing stay right on the sea! There is a beautiful beach, courtyard, pool and every amenity you can imagine. Many great restaurants also in walking distance along the beach.This villa is a true Unicorn!! We will be back for sure! Fabjan and his family were the perfect hosts. We had an amazing holiday thanks to them.

The property was perfect for our large family group of 11 people. Every thing was there 3 apartments with 3 kitchens, plus a garden kitchen. The hosts mother was lovely even taught me how to bake cakes which were brilliant. Plenty of places in the garden to relax, the children were very happy as they were in the pool nearly all the time. The beach and sea directly outside the apartment was great, and we used the paddle board a lot. Plenty of supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants / bars nearby.

The property was amazing, perfect for our large family group as we could all have our own spaces and the pool area was amazing real hit. The location was fantastic with a few shops and bars/restaurants a short walk away and the beach only a few steps from the garden. The hosts were great, very friendly and welcoming and we really appreciate the lift to the larger supermarket on arrival day so we could stock up. As a group we had a wonderful and relaxing time. We would certainly go back.

Probably not enough space to write just how impressive our stay was. The villa and grounds were immaculate. Its well designed with a good variety of usable out door spaces, seating areas and loungers. The villa is over two floors with 3 kitchen areas plus an oitdoor kitchen area. The outside space also has a great bbq which the host cleaned everynight. The hosts were brilliant. Very attentive and very friendly with good local knowledge. The villa is right on the sea front. The sea is beautiful crystal clear water. It is well located for bars and restaurants and the bus to split leaves from 20 meters away. Great for day trips and an amazing holoday all round. Thank you to Fabian and Ivana - if there were six stars id have awarded all six!

Beautiful house and location. Loved all the outdoor sitting areas. House was the most well stocked of any property i have ever rented on VRBO.

Fantastic Holiday

Great accommodation, gardens, pool and beach/sea so very close. Young and old had a very memorable holiday. The owners were very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Can’t fault anything.

Great place!

We had wonderful holidays ! The house is perfectly equipped and very modern, it consist of 3 appartement; perfectly suited for us as we were 2 families and young couple. We loved a pool and direct access to the beach! Fabien, Jagoda thank you for your kindness and your hospitality!!

We had a fantastic time in Podstrana, Croatia! The property was right on the beach — you couldn’t ask for a better location. It was spotless, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Fabyan was a fantastic host: friendly, helpful, and always quick to respond. Local amenities were very convenient, and getting to both Split and Omiš was super easy. A fun surprise was the resident tortoise, which added a unique and memorable touch to our stay! All in all, a perfect getaway — highly recommended!

Big , Nice House at the Beach

Everything was fine. The pool was clean, the garden beautiful. Good equipped! Loved the sea at the house. And most of all the owners were very friendly, helpful, and nice people.

Perfect!

Our family from Australia stayed for 6 nights leading up to our sons wedding. From the minute we booked until we checked out our hosts were amazing. The villa is even better than the photos and the location and beach is beautiful. Bus station direct to Split right outside. Supermarket 200m. Just wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect week

We love the house, the garden and the luxury pool. The way to the see is very short and perfect. The whole family is very kindly and we thougt we are a part of them. Thanks for all and we will come back again.

Perfect!

Everything about this place is as it’s described in the ad. The pool and garden is beautiful and so is the seaside view. The apartments are modern and clean. Fabjan and his parents hospitality is top notch and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Fabjan!

AMAZING Villa!

What an amazing place! We weren't really sure what to expect, as this was our first trip to Croatia. The Podstrana villa was absolutely perfect.....so much more than we dreamed of! Tons of space, very well constructed and decorated. So many lovely outdoor spaces to spend time with friends and right on the beach! We were totally in awe and so appreciative of how much thought went into this amazing place!

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Maris, Ivana and Fabjan, the friendliest, most welcoming hosts and owners of the property. We were very happy with the spacious home, beautiful pool and grounds, and view of the Adriatic in our backyard, just steps from the sea. The furnishings, kitchens, and bathrooms were very modern and full of all the dinnerware, cookware, and utensils one would need. The infinity pool with jets enhanced our stay, along with comfortable beds and cool air conditioning. In walking distance were a small market and several good restaurants, allowing us to avoid driving into Split for dinner. Our visit to Split was even more special because of the wonderful hosts and home.

Our family of 13, ranging from 2 to 72 were delighted with our 11 days in Villa Maris The 3 apartments with their different bedroom arrangements, suited our family grouping well. They were all spotless and very well equipped to a high standard. The pool was great (owners attended daily to clean) and with the direct access to the beach, and use of the villa’s paddleboard, our family had a great time. The owner, Fabian, his wife and mother were all very helpful with any queries we had – providing us with delicious home baked cakes and taking us to the big supermarket when we first arrived. We would fully recommend this to other families for the location, the high standard of the apartments – and the friendly, helpful support from the owners.

Perfection in Podstrana

What a fantastic experience staying at Villa Marris in Podstrana, a very well equipped 'home from home' experience, everything was provided for. Fantastic owners Fabjan and his mother who delivered home made pastries and peaches, one of the best villas I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world. Absolute perfect - extreme friendly host

We enjoyed our five-days-stay in both lower appartements, which offered us all posssible comfort.Both the app.themselves and the garden have been designed with love for details. As we were the first to use the brand new pool, we had a lot of fun. And we were lucky, that the very friendly host even did the barbecue for us! The garden offers so many possibilities to relax, that we had real problems to choose. And to get into the sea it only takes a few steps. Wonderful!!! Regards from Germany Ulrike and her 5 friends

An amazing property that worked well for our family group of 3 families (2, 3 and 4 people). It was good to have our own apartments/space, where each had everything we needed. The pool was a big attraction, and the outdoor kitchen and BBQ were well used. There was always somewhere to find a bit of shade in the beautiful garden, if that's what you prefer. The views from the garden were exquisite and the beach just a few steps from the rear gate. There are good restaurants, supermarkets and a bakery within walking distance. The bus stop immediately outside was handy when we used public transport on a trip back from Split town. Fabian was always prompt to answer any questions, and offer assistance - both before our arrival and while we were in Podstrana.We couldn't have wanted more for a family get together. The plaque on the wall shows 3*, but this should definitely be a 5* property.

Wonderful villa, amenities & location

We really enjoyed our stay at the villa. As we were a party of 4 adults & 4 teenagers the 3 separate apartments worked well for us. It was great to have so much space to relax individually but also come together for meals etc. Fabjan and Ivana were very responsive and extremely accommodating hosts and Fabjan’s mother (who lives onsite behind the apartments) ensured everything onsite was ok for us daily during our stay. Just one suggestion might be to have some fans available in the bedrooms in the summer months as there was only 1 AC unit in the living rooms of each apartment and some of the bedrooms had very little airflow. Access to the beach was amazing and we enjoyed the use of the many sun-loungers on the beach itself. We also loved exploring the many restaurants and bars which were a short walk along the beach from the villa. Thank you Fabjan and Ivana for a really lovely stay, your kind hospitality was appreciated!

Wow

The PERFECT family holiday, what more can we say, everything was thought of. The villa was amazing, very well equipped with incredible views of the sea in the day and sunset on an evening. We even spotted dolphins one morning which was so special. We are a family of 10 made up of all ages from 9 to 72 and there was something for everyone to do and enough space to relax when needed. The hosts Fabian and Ivana were fabulous with Ivana bringing us fresh baking one day which was just delicious. So a massive thank you again to them. The nearby bakery and supermarket is very handy, we visited everyday and of an evening we took a stroll along the beach either left of right and found some beautiful restaurants which again had something for everyone’s tastes. We can’t wait to return, we have all found a new love for Croatia 🇭🇷

Beautiful property and incredibly accommodating and kind hosts! I was with a group of 5 and through the two levels/3 apartments, we each had plenty of space. Highlights were the beachfront/boardwalk access, ample seating areas in the garden, the espresso/cafe stations, the sunset views from the balcony, and the courtesy and kindness from the hosts. Sadly it was a little chilly for us to use the pool, but it was very clean. All three of the apartments were very well-stocked, we used a lot of dishware for coffees and for a few meals that we ate at the house. Fabjan was extremely responsive and the property was very clean throughout our stay. They were very kind to one of my friends with a much later flight, allowing him to enjoy the garden after check out. Easy access to Split but Split traffic increased some of the drives to 30 minutes, but overall very easy to get ubers to and from the city. Thank you!!! Would love to come back :)

Wonderful location right on the beach in Podstrana. Luxury accommodation. Very attentive host provided above and beyond service. Lots of bars and restaurants within easy walk. Wonderful 3 mile paved walkway along the beach (2.2 mile in one direction, a bit over 1 in the other), so great for walking or jogging. Only slight drawback is the traffic into Split if you're planning excursions (ferry, bus, etc.). Allow enough time to get there, due to traffic, not distance. The later in the morning or day, the worse the traffic will be. We did numerous excursions from Split, but we had to make that half hour to one hour commute for each of those tours, so expect that. We also went to Omiš for a river tour, which is in the opposite direction so no traffic (still 25-ish minutes to get there due to distance). So the Podstrana location is nice because it's central and wonderful for what's right there for chilling and beach/pool days, but you'll be commuting for all excursions. Overall, great VRBO accommodation due to location, amenities, and great host.

Our Stay in Podstrana

It started with being greeted by Fabjan at the property on arrival. A fantastic meet and greet where he showed us around and signposted us to the important things like coffee machines (excellent), air con and all other amenities whilst also giving us a cold beer during the meet and greet - fantastic. Fabjan helped with all questions and also offered to take us to the large supermarket the next day to get some supplies which was a massive help. The villa is incredible and even bigger than it looks and is described. We had the pleasure of seeing Fabjan’s mother most days who always ensured we had fresh towels and towels on all the sun beds before the day really got started, she also played a big role in making us feel welcomed and she was fantastic with all of the children from both families, she even cooked pancakes for all the children and brought fresh fruit for them also, she added to what was a fantastic villa and a fantastic host. The beach is truly beautiful and having it at the back of the villa is just amazing whereby we could sit on the sinners on the patio and watch the older children in the sea We will be going back in the future and we are looking forwards to seeing Fabjan when we return to Croatia in the future
