The Space:
The family room area and kitchen are bright, open and airy with volume ceilings allowing the chef(s) and guests to enjoy each others company while preparing your favorite meals and/or relaxing while watching your favorite movie. This home has WIFI and a SmartTV, so you won't feel disconnected during your stay. There are 2 bedrooms with a jack-n-jill bath on the main level plus a spiral staircase leading to the loft upstairs with 2 twin beds with trundles - perfect for the kiddos!

"Casita at the Pass" has a large elevated deck which supports views of the Gulf and Bay side of the island. You can catch a glorious sunrise to get your day started and then enjoy a shaded afternoon cocktail. There is also a charcoal grill ready for your favorite grill-ables. Perfect setup for that great beach getaway experience!

It's easy to stay with us and secure too! Access the home electronically at 4pm on the date of your arrival with your unique lock code that we specifically give only to you via text and email. Your code is live from 4pm on your arrival date until 11am on the date of your departure.

Stop by the convenience store to snag some basic supplies and beverages, fill your bait bucket and/or rent a golf cart. Enjoy the Gulfside's uncrowded pedestrian beach (no cars allowed for 300 yards but golf carts welcomed) where you can setup your group's spot for the day on the beach to build sandcastles, jump in the surf, find unique shells and sand dollars, boogie board, shore & surf fish and build an evening bonfire. Or if preferred, utilize the available launch for your boat or fishing pier on the bayside. So much to do so little time!

Getting Around:
AREA:
San Luis Pass and Treasure Island have been known all over the United States for being a saltwater fishing hotspot and the most amazing sunrises & sunsets! It is 15 mins from Surfside and across the bridge from Galveston's west end and only about 25-30 mins to the heart of Galveston Island's activities. Most people come to the area to spend quality 'non-commercialized" time with family, extended family, and friends!

We ensure our homes are fully and professionally cleaned after each guest stay guaranteeing your stay is nothing short of spectacular. In addition, all of our homes feature luxury hotel-quality/high thread count on all sheets, bedding, and bath towels. When you rent a 979 VPS home, you'll also receive the 'comforts of home' guest welcome starter supply of shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, toilet paper and paper towels, dishwasher and clothes washer pods. We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and we make every effort to delight.

DOG-FRIENDLY:
Up to 2 well-behaved dogs considered, subject to approval and a non-refundable pet fee ($125 for 1 dog, extra $75 for 2) per stay.

WIFI/TV SERVICE:
Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!

979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:
All 979 Vacation Property Services rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance of check-in. Please send inquiry and details if your stay is more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - No Security Deposit Required!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
For any new reservation, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations.

After that, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less the booking fee.

Reservations made on 3rd party channels such as Airbnb, VRBO, TripAdvisor, etc may be subject to their terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. Please reference the site where you originally reserved your stay.
