Island Life Getaway~ Bring Your Boat!

There is something for everyone so come enjoy yourselves in beautiful Treasure Island! Sunrises and sunsets are breath taking. The neighborhood is quiet and this house offers wraparound porches with both beach and bay views. This location is great for fishing and 2 minutes from the beach. Our house sits on the end of a canal with a boat slip available during your stay. Our home will sleep up to 8 people comfortably. It is approximately 30 minutes from Moody Gardens and Galveston attractions. There is a private beach entry for Treasure Island located on the beach side of the neighborhood. There is also a public playground for the kiddos located just a short distance to the San Luis Pass!

We was there just to fish and have a place to cool off and shower. Ac worked perfectly when we checked in it was set on 65 and holding we moved it up to 75 which was perfect for us. Didn't get to test the beds do after shower and eating passed out both nights in recliner. Host was excellent to us and boat lifts worked . So for us guys it was perfect would definitely stay again.

Kerri is great to work with. The place is as advertised and the price is awesome. In general it was clean and stocked well enough. It is probably time to invest in some new linens and towels but overall it was great.

Review of vrbo stay

Nice cozy little house, had trouble getting the rental agreement to owner who was short in conversation, key code we were given was wrong so had to contact owners as soon as we got there and wait for correct code. Other than that house was just as advertised and expected. Affordable cozy and clean! Enjoyed our stay and plan to come back

The key code- if you review our emails, when I sent the beach house information, I gave you the current key code. When you called, I did go back and check. Again, sorry for the confusion. The house is pretty nice. The location is good. For us, it was a place to sleep while fishing all week. The queen bed in one bedroom is hard as a rock. We had to go get a mattress topper to make it tolerable. Don't plan on being able to watch TV. Local channels are limited, and reception was bad. There is a roku on the living room tv, but it wouldn't connect to any of the 5 phones we had. The house was infested with ants. We bought bug spray and repeatedly sprayed the bathroom and kitchen. The Ac works great, but is very noisy in the master bedroom. The house was nice and cool when we got there. The bathtub didn't drain very well. The boat lift works good, but the slip is pretty narrow. My boat barely fit, only inches to spare on the sides. There is a water hose within feet, which was very handy for flushing the motor and cleaning the boat. There was stuff stuck to the shelves in the refrigerator when we got there and the bathroomwasnt as clean as we would have liked. There is a plenty of deck space, upstairs and downstairs, to enjoy the breeze. Watch your head on the steps to the upper deck, and don't lean very hard on the rail facing the canal. Overall, it was worth the price, but we probably won't book again. We have rented 5 different homes in the Treasure Island/ San luis pass neighborhood over the years and will book a different one next trip. We need a little bigger house. For a small group that just needs a place to sleep, this house will work for that.

Fantastic!!

The property was exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean, had all the amenities we were looking for, and the location was perfect. We had a kayaking weekend and the canal made it easy to launch and retrieve our yaks without having to load and unload them from the truck each day. This gave us even more time on the water. Kerri was spectacular, easy to work with, and very kind. I highly recommend her and her property to anyone who is wanted to soend time in San Luis Pass.

I'll be going back for sure

I've stayed on San Luis pass before and at surfside and have had bigger houses but this one was my favorite so far. Nice and cozy and big decks. Will definitely be going back . The owner was great. She was very easy to contact and replied very quick. Not to mention she was very nice. I took my boat to this house and was very happy with being able to stow my boat on the lift and able to wash it down after going out . I've talked about this place to a few friends and they are very interested in renting this place out. Had a great time and definitely going back again.

Enjoyable family weekend

Great location right by the beach, very cozy house, nice place to fish and chill. When we arrived the cleaning person hadn’t taken the previous bedding out of the bathtub. I texted the property owner which responded very quickly despite being so late at night. They was very concerned stayed in contact and refunded us the cleaning fee and one’s night stay plus had the cleaning person come out the next morning to clean the bathroom. I would most definitely rent from them again. Thank you Kerri and Josh be blessed.

Nice, quiet neighborhood and quick access to beach

Overall great property. Easy check in, very responsive owner, and pictures are accurate. What you see is truly what you get. You need to make sure to bring everything they tell you so don’t think they’re just kidding lol. If there is WiFi we couldn’t find the info and quite frankly didn’t matter because we wanted to be outside but there is a roku and we couldn’t use it. Not a big deal for us. Some of the sheets were pretty stained and we found a cigarette butt in the bunk bed when we arrived from the previous guest. It’s definitely the most expensive Vrbo I’ve stayed in around this area for the size of the house but I brought a side by side and left it and my trailer in the driveway while we drove around town and to the beach. Safe, quiet neighborhood and the neighbors kept a good eye on things and even helped me out when I needed it. If you’re not familiar with the area just know you’re a good drive away from a store so prepare but the beauty of it is you’re far away from the crowds too.
