Take a break from your busy life and make our fully restored 100-year old log cabin your home for the week, weekend or holiday. The Cabin is located on our 220 acre property with lots of space to explore. A gated bridge welcomes you over the Naches River into a secluded retreat filled with scenic views, abundant wildlife and spectacular mountain sunsets.

Perfect for a romantic getaway, the main floor includes a master suite, complete with a king size bed and a claw foot tub as well as a comfortable living room & kitchen/dining room. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms with queen beds with another full bath. Satellite TV is available, in addition to a collection of movies and books. We now have WiFi at the cabin. The large kitchen is fully stocked to prepare family dinners. If you choose to dine out, we are a short drive from several great restaurants, including a brewery with hand-tossed pizzas.

Outdoor amenities include a large deck complete with a hot tub and fully stocked fire pit. Enjoy strolling along our private river access, hiking, fishing, cross country skiing and many other activities both on the property and in the surrounding wilderness areas. We are located just a short distance from White Pass Ski Lodge.

Note: Our base nightly rate is for 2 guests, for any additional guests after 2 there is an additional guest fee of $25 per additional guest per night for up to a maximum of 10 guests total at the cabin. This is a way for us to keep pricing down when it's just a few people wanting to enjoy our cabin.

We loved this location and the cabin. What a beautiful facility. And the hot tub was the final touch. We definitely plan to come back next winter for a long weekend. Breakfast at the Wood Shed wasvalso wonderful.

Wonderful stay

We enjoyed our stay. The cabin was very cozy, everything was super clean and we found the place very accommodating for families with small kids. We had two three year olds and an infant along and really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful Stay!

We loved staying in this beautiful cabin! It seems small from the outside but it perfectly fit all ten of us! Loved the snowy outdoors to walk around in and the big dinning room table to play games on! We would stay again!

Girls Basketball 2A State Championship

This is an excellent property. My family and I stayed here during the girls basketball State Championship 2A games. Very well maintained property and we really enjoyed our stay there.

Great getaway in a cozy cabin

Lovely, cozy cabin in a relaxing mountainous town. Kathy, our host, was sweet, kind, informative and hospitable. Cabin was located close to local restaurants and bars. Deer were grazing in the front yard.We will definitely be back.

Beautiful!

Amazing private property. Partner and I stayed for a few days. Cabin was authentic lob cabin, clean, quiet, and so so beautiful. We loved all the detailed decor for the holidays. Kathy and Jon were great hosts. We enjoyed our little New Year getaway. Can’t wait to come back.

We needed a place to unwind and spend time together. It was forced relaxation and we loved it! The grounds are gorgeous. The cabin was cozy, quiet, and private. It was perfect

My husband and I met in 1976 and instantly fell in Love! We married in 1981 at St. Paul's Cathedral in Yakima Wa. Don has had a successful career as a musician since he was 18 years old. He Toured with his band Bazooka Joe around Canada and the Northwest, eventually becoming a solo artist. I supported my husbands dream while establishing a career in Dental offices. We have two wonderful children, a daughter and a son. In 1985 we purchased my husbands family farm and after years of farming, we decided to fix up the Homestead Cabin. Our days are spent enjoying the beautiful property and running our wedding business that has grown into something wonderful.

Originally this Cabin was built in the late 1800's. Its historic value has served as a stop over for travelers and was used as a boys home in the 1940s. Switching owners several times to eventually be purchased by my husbands family in 1961. Don and I purchased the property eventually in 1985. The Cabin at this time was in pretty bad shape and was in need of some repairs. For 2 and a half years we spent endless hours on the cabin 7 days a week. From the original hand hewn logs, to the exposed chinking we decided to keep the cabin feeling as original as possible. Although some parts of the Cabin had to be modernized for comfort and safety, the original feel of the cabin still remains. Soon after we completed the restoration we decided to share the cabin as a nightly rental. After a few years of renting the cabin, people had begun to inquire about having weddings here. As the weddings grew it became very apparent that we needed to expand. It was Don's great idea to turn our old hay barn into a wedding facility. Which brings us to present day, where we enjoy having weddings from mid-April to the end of October. During our busy wedding season the Cabin comes with the facility as a wedding package.
The rest of the year we Rent our Cabin separately for Romantic getaways for couples, small family gatherings, and folks who enjoy winter sports nearby! Our cabin accommodates up to 10 people. We look forward to meeting all of our guests and sharing this Historic Homestead Cabin.
