Some places are beautiful but it's the people behind them who make a stay truly unforgettable and this was one of those finds! The home was absolutely spotless, exceptionally well stocked and filled with thoughtful details that made everything feel like home. What made our stay even more special was the Lisa's warm, personable approach and responsiveness. She surprised us with anniversary flowers - a very thoughtful gesture making our stay even more memorable! It's clear Lisa goes above and beyond to make guest fees welcome and valued. We left with a wonderful feeling and another benchmark for what an exceptional rental property experience should be. We would return in a heartbeat!!

Absolutely amazing rental I highly recommend to all. Great spot on the water either way great views and a large private backyard. Lots of living space for your solar value, it’s like a home away from home. Very, very clean, kept immaculate probably the cleanest rental that I have ever stayed at. The host(Lisa) is very nice and easy to communicate with. Definitely adding to my lists of favourites, I’d rent again for sure.

The host was absolutely wonderful. The home is beautiful, in a quiet area, perfect for a weekend getaway. There was a lot of thought put into what a guest will need and they have all of the amenities and so much more.

Wonderful lake house weekend

We had an excellent stay. Close enough to the national park for daily visits and the lookout over the lake was wonderful. The kids really enjoyed the fire pit for hot dogs and smores. Communication with Lisa was excellent and the house was spotless.

A Great Canadian Getaway

The house and views of the Lake were amazing. Beautiful sunrises. We came for the birding and wildlife in the area and at Point Pelee National Park and it didn’t disappoint.

I don’t think I’ve stayed at a VRBO property with a host that exceeded Lisa. She was so attentive to our questions with timely answers (and gracious reminders when we forgot about where to park on the property). The house, the towels, the linens, the windows are all spotless. Like living in a magazine photo, but also very comfortable. The interior spoke not just “Lake House”, but specifically Lake ERIE Lake House. Countless thoughtful touches enriched our stay: eg jam, condiments, coffee cream in the fridge, popsicles in the freezer, snacks at the welcome desk, board games, you name it. Even blankets to use on deck overlooking the lake when the lake breezes were too cooling. We did have to wash off bugs and weather residue from the Muskoka yard chairs, as one should expect at a lake house. We didn’t even have time to bbq even though a nice one is there to use. The property and neighbours are all quiet in the evening. I was becoming a bit jaded by the anonymity of some of the VRBOs I’ve recently stayed at. By contrast this one felt genuine and authentic. We and our visiting family members felt welcomed. And it’s so close to Pt Pelee and Leamington. Perfect stay.

The home we stayed in Izzy’s lookout lake house, was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was completely stocked with anything and everything you could possibly need. The rest of the house was also stocked with a lot of essentials. Lots of games, puzzles, and books to read. The host Lisa got back to me very quickly and was very friendly And helpful.We very much enjoyed our stay there.

The photos don’t even do this place justice. The house is immaculate, super clean & stocked with just about anything you could need! The host is amazing & went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend staying here! We plan to return ☺️

Outstay at Izzy's Lookout

We would not hesitate to recommend this home. Lisa was excellent in her communication with us, the house is spotless and the sunrises over the lake are spectacular. A great place to take in all that the area has to offer! Maureen and Dave Kemptville, ON

Excellent host

They thought of EVERYTHING. Plenty of blankets, extra towels, all of the dishes and cookware that you need, condiments, even cotton swabs and spare toothbrush, if you forgot to pack yours. Communication was excellent, and the property itself was ideal for our little family. We truly felt at home.

Amazing Lakeside Home

We had stayed at several Vrbo properties. This is one of our favourites. Very comfortable beds, couch’s & chairs. Awesome shower too. Lisa is a wonderful Host and quick to respond. There is everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, bathroom and several supplies. Thanks for sharing your lovely home.
