We stayed at the Alfred chalet for 12 days.We felt extremely well in the chalet and enjoyed the sun-lit open space. The fireplace is a beautiful feature. The kitchen is well equipped and offers anything one would need. The home is very special, very quiet, airy and warm. The chalet is in a beautiful wooded setting with a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Close to everything the area has to offer and yet very private.The pictures of the chalet on the VRBO site depict the home well and accurate.A true gem we can highly recommend and endorse.

Delightfull

The view with hot tub and the heated floors after skiing were a treat. Beds were comfortable and the chalet had everything that was needed to make an our family vacation memorable. Location ideal for our interests.

Ski Vacation

Amazing property close to Le Massif. Spa was wonderful for apres ski. Full windows that allow for beautiful views of the St Lawrence River. What a treat to wake up to. Fully stocked and comfortable stay for our family. Thank you Charles!

'Alfred

Beautiful house with great views over the St. Lawrence. Very comfortable main room. The owner was very communicative and friendly on email. The property was just right for a family of four. One of the bedrooms is an attic room and has very steep stairs for access - fine for a teenager, less fine for a younger child or someone less table.

Had an issue with the hot tub when we arrived but contacted the owner and he fixed it immediately. After that everything was great.

Le chalet est très bien situé et l’endroit est parfaitement équipé pour recevoir ses invités. Le ménage de ce chalet est impeccable et je suis plutôt exigeante à cet égard. Cependant, la « troisième chambre » n’est vraiment pas accessible à tous et c’est le seul bémol. L’escalier, ou plutôt l’échelle, qui y mène est très étroite et dangereuse selon nous. On aurait aimé le savoir avant car nous avons payé un extra pour des invités lors de la fin de semaine mais on a dû s’organiser autrement.

L’endroit est vraiment très bien. L’équipement est très complet. Place très bien située ( la Malbaie, éboulements, Baie St-Paul et l’île aux Coudre).

La propriété ressemblait à l'annonce. Très sympa chalet pour un séjour estival. Le spa a été apprécié. Un souci avec le code de la porte est survenu à notre arrivée. L'hôte à rapidement répondu à nos questions anxieuses et à trouvé une solution alternative pour nous permettre de profiter de notre séjour.Seule la domotique gagnerait à être mieux expliquée. Lorsque trois thermostats différents affichent la température du salon, cela devient rapidement confus pour une personne ne connaissant pas les appareils. Rien de majeur, toutefois.En bref, un joli séjour estival dans une propriété sympa.

Nous cherchions un endroit calme et enchanteur pour se reposer et se dépayser : Alfred Chalet a livré sur toute la ligne! Le chalet était d'une propreté irréprochable et très bien équipé avec un souci du détail sans failles; déco tendance, foyer extérieur et à l'intérieur, spa, lits confos, vaisselle/ustensiles à profusion, jeux de table, et même un coussin pour le chien... tout y était. Après une semaine, ils nous fallait rentrer chez nous mais nous en gardons un souvenir des plus mémorables... Merci Charles!!!

Séjour en famille

Vue magnifique sur le fleuve à profiter dans le spa. Plancher en béton chauffant, très confortable. Tres bien conçu pour la location. Instructions détaillées et produits sanitaires disponibles, ce qui est facilitant. Attention: pour la chambre au grenier, il faut monter une échelle. Ça prend des gens en forme! L’entrée est en pente et étroite. Notre séjour a été très agréable. Merci aux hôtes!
