We truly enjoyed our stay in High Falls. The home is comfortable, clean and well equipped. Sitting on the porch and listening to the creek was lovely, and even better when sitting right next to the creek (or even in it!). You can hear the road a bit, but it didn't detract from the experience in our opinion. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area; our favorite was Mountain Brauhaus for delicious German food and a fun atmosphere (but make reservations). A great stay - don't hesitate to book it!

A place for my family

I live less than a mile from Mossybrook hideout. I hosted a family reunion and rented the house for my adult children and their partners. They were delighted with the house and the property.

Modern and Peaceful

Beautiful property and home with all the amenities. What a wonderful way to wake up to the sound of the river and no noisy neighbors! The kitchen was awesome with a great view. We enjoyed the hot tub in total peace. We will be back!

Great house in High Falls

Had a great time at Mossybrook Hideout! House was exactly as pictured and came stocked with everything we needed for a great weekend trip. Our small dog who loved being able to run around in the grass and we loved taking advantage of amenities like the hot tub and wood stove. We loved the location, but I definitely agree that in the winter 4x4 would be required given how steep and winding the gravel driveway is.

Friends Weekend

Quite buggy as it’s near a river but overall nice. House itself was clean and well stocked. The driveway was quite treacherous and it would be great if the owners could do something about that. At least fill in the potholes. Otherwise great stay!

Great cabin in the woods. A very serene, wonderful long weekend!

We greatly enjoyed our time at the cabin. It was very clean, tranquil and had great starter set of amenities. Only recommendation is to add hair dryer and would be great if the house had firewood. Thx again for a great, relaxing stay!
