The farm house and property are beautiful! The environment is really relaxing and it’s a very cozy home. Clean linens, towels, blankets, and cozy beds and couches. Our airline changed our flight so we only got in around 10pm, and the instructions to get into the place were incorrect, and we were combing through the property in total darkness in the cold with exhausted young children looking for what we needed to get in to the house to no avail. I couldn’t access wifi from outside to message the host (it’s a 3G network so it’s a weak connection) and we had to drive back in town to access wifi and cell phone reception. After a few messages and VRBO calling the host a few times, we reached the host who was helpful at that point in getting us in the home, but in all this took an hour to get inside after travelling across the country. There were 2 rolls of tp for 6 people for 5 days and I really had to dig to find hand soap (the dispensers were empty). The tub plug didn’t seal so I went into town to buy another (along with tp) and left it there for future guests to use. The wifi regularly went out so streaming things wasn’t very functional. For the cost paid it would make sense for the host to upgrade to 5g for sure. Having said that, the host was very nice and allowed us an extra 2 hours for a later check out. I do recommend this place, it is really cozy and the naturalization of the space is really beautiful and well done.
