The cabin is lovely and the owner thought of every detail to make our stay delightful! We enjoyed rocking on the front porch listening to the birds and enjoying gorgeous weather. We would love to go back sometime.

Peaceful Getaway

Beautiful cabin property that was secluded and quiet. Home was furnished with all the necessities and some extras! We loved our stay & wish we could have stayed a little longer!

Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful time at the Lakewood Secret Cabin! The cabin was nicely equipped with everything needed. The attention to detail was so well thought out! This was the most peaceful, relaxing place we have ever stayed at. The cabin was so clean and comfortable. The screened porch and front porch are amazing places to just sit outside and enjoy the quiet.I highly recommend this place. We are already talking about our next trip back!

Truly a treasure

This is by far the best rental I have ever stayed in. immaculately clean, quiet, and surrounded by nature. Fully stocked, had everything we needed. Would give 10 stars if I could!

50th anniversary

Everything was perfect, from the location, the setting, the theme, access, the deer pack, fox visit , to the fireplaces. It truly was a special cabin. We shall return!

Weekend retreat with parents

We had a wonderfully quiet relaxing weekend. We were seating on porch and we saw a fox and then about 12 deer. 4 deer hung out and sat and rested. This is a very private cabin.

Awesome cabin

The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Kitchen has everything you need plus it is beautiful. Everything in cabin looks new. Very comfortable. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Saw deer every day and even a fox. Could not have been any nicer. Added features it was decorated for fall

Modern but cozy

This cabin is a rental work of art. The spaces are open and inviting. Every part feels cute, well kept, and thoughtful. The beds were just as comfortable as ours at home. I have never had a kitchen that had everything I could need and more. The patio was inviting and the outdoor firepit was the perfect way to spend an evening. I can't imagine a better space to spend a vacation in the hill country.

Hidden Gem in Wooded Surroundings

A beautifully appointed cabin in the woods. It had the feel of being remote, while access to essentials and restaurants nearby. Central location provided easy drives to multiple small, charming communities and vineyards. Within an hour or so to Austin, San Antonio and Fredricksburg...truly a perfect location. Being "porch people" we enjoyed watching deer and birds on the front and back porches, having coffee, reading and happy hour in those spots. It was a very pleasant setting with a spacious and well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed!

What A Perfect Place!

We scheduled our stay to be when the Annular Eclipse occurred in Texas recently. It was right overhead. Could not ask for a more quiet, clean. up-to-date cabin in the woods. We particularly enjoyed the morning deer parade each morning while having our coffee. the beds were great. The dining room porch was fun. We have been to many cabins and homes all over the West and this one, Lakewood Secret, is by far the best we have ever been to. It is easy to see that the owners take great pride in it. We have already decided to return again, it is that nice.

Amazing Cabin, Great Location

What a great Cabin!!! This location is better than the pictures. Place was spotless when we arrived. Check in was easy! Location was beyond amazing. Located in the woods, but yet still near activities. Tons of wildlife to watch every morning with our coffee. The kitchen had everything you needed and it was all in great condition. Lots of little extras in kitchen and bathrooms made the stay more than enjoyable. When I got home I was ready to book another stay at this great place. We will definitely be back again. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you for the wonderful getaway.

Enjoyed the cabin tremendously

Super clean and completely stocked w whatever u would need! The back patio is an amazing place to enjoy friends without pesky mosquitoes! Definitely would recommend!
