We had a blast on our trip! This place has wonderful amenities, a beautiful yard, fantastic dock, and is peaceful. Everything was clean and we had plenty of room inside and outside. I highly recommend you adding this to your must stay list!

We had a little challenge with finding the location, but once we got in, we had an excellent experience. The kitchen was fully stocked. The bathrooms were spacious. The porch was amazing, as were the views of the lake. The boathouse and dock were a huge hit with our grandsons (and the entire family). They swam, fished, and kayaked all day and evening. We highly recommend the location for a great lakeside experience.

Great getaway spot. It was remote, quiet and with an awesome view of the Lake. Boathouse was a great touch. House was clean and adequate for our stay. The Host was communicative and helpful. Highly recommended.

We had a wonderful stay. The location was pleasant and peaceful. As soon as we stepped in the house we felt the troubles melt away and we immediately felt relaxed. Everything was clean and smelled good. Plenty of blankets, 3 rooms and 4 beds and 2 full baths. The home was clean and welcoming. Seasonings, pots and pans and plates and utensils were everything we needed. Washer and dryer were useful and there were plenty of towels. Best to go shopping before coming to the property. The dirt roads are rocky and not what us city folks are used to. From the paved road it will take you 15-20 minutes to drive on the unpaved road. But it was worth it. The scenery and lake are beautiful. There are swings and a fire pit. There is also a Weber propane bbq pit. There is a beautiful patio and TV outside we did not use it. Take bug spray and mosquito spray. The property is beautiful. The boathouse needs some mending but the view is gorgeous. It is outdoors so there are spiders and bugs. The kayaks were fun and the water is very clean. There are remnants of trees growing in the water so be cautious on the deeper ends. We look forward to returning to this property in the future. It was so very nice.

Great Weekend for the Family

We booked last minute for a quick getaway from the city. It was everything we needed! The property has everything an outdoorsy family needs! We fished most of the day Saturday. I taught my younger son how to use the kayak, which was a memorable experience! The sunset on the lake was magical! We will definitely consider coming back for a longer time! The dirt roads leading to the lake were a surprise, but it was worth it!

We loved our stay at the cabin! It was perfect for us. We loved hanging in the boathouse and kayaking on the lake. Very peaceful and quiet.No road noise. Cabin was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Our stay in the Hidden Pines Cottage August 14 - 17, 2025 was just what we needed. It was secluded, private, the cottage was so nice and had everything we needed. The fishing was off as the water temperature was probably high driving the fish out to deeper water. We have two kayaks that we haven’t been using but the time we spent on the water was like a shot in the arm to get ours out and hit some local lakes. Ed was quick to respond via text messages on any issues or concerns. He was very accommodating to all our needs. We would highly recommend it to all those that need a peaceful refuge away from the chaotic world.

Relaxing

Nice & secluded. Amazing view and very relaxing, especially fishing on the dock. Recommend bringing all your food & drinks with you on day one, because once you're there, you don't want to leave.

Incredible Beauty!

We have rented numerous properties over the last 13 years, and this one may be the best yet. The house is pretty and comfortable with well-appointed kitchen. The highlight, though, is the lake view -- priceless! The boathouse is such an added treat. We plan to do this again. Thanks to our hosts for sharing.

A Great Place to Relax and Ed is a Fantastic Host!

There was a bit of a mix up on our end but Ed was so helpful and so kind in getting us straightened out!The house itself was clean and well-maintained and the property is a great spot for relaxing!The boat house in particular was a big hit with the kids with all of the windows looking out onto the water!We'll have to come back at a sunnier time so we can enjoy the kayaks!

Great Thanksgiving Getaway

My boys and I had a great time at this lakeside cabin over Thanksgiving. It was very restful and beautiful. The sunsets on the lake were incredible. Unfortunately the fish weren’t biting but we went kayaking a few times, had a couple bonfires and just enjoyed time together.

Lovely and quiet

This was the easiest booking/stay experience I've ever had. The communication was excellent and the host was super friendly and helpful. The house itself is really comfortable and lovely, with a perfect view of the lake. Deer came around in the evenings (to complain about the empty feeder) and the sunsets were beautiful. The quiet is amazing! If you're looking for a peaceful, comfortable getaway, this is it.

COLONIAL ROOFING

This place is beautiful. The back porch is perfect. The view in the in the morning is spectacular. But nothing can beat the sunset in the evening. Great place. Will come back.

Great place for some weekend fishing

Very clean, my family and our Great Dane had a blast fishing and kayaking before our boys went back to school.

Amazing, Relaxing, and memorable

This property was amazing!!! We had such an amazing time our 7year old did not wanna leave. The location and views were stunning. We could sit on that front porch and have our coffee every morning and never get tired of the view. Can’t wait to book again in a few months!!!!
