Beautiful and spacious home

We were in town for our daughter’s wedding. This house was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, super clean, well equipped kitchen. The living area was very comfortable, the deck was an added bonus. The beach is right across the street! Really perfect.

Extremely responsive hosts that take care of their guests! We found an important item left behind by a previous guest and let the host know, and they drove over promptly to retrieve it and make sure it was returned to the guest - above and beyond as far as we were concerned! The house was beautiful, in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with great amenities inside and out. The location was perfect for my wife, parents, and our young kids. The kids are already asking to go back!

Great long weekend!

5 adults for a local college graduation. Lovely outside decks for relaxing/dining. Kitchen has large refrigerator/freezer. Kitchen cabinets are literally filled with any cooking/baking needs you may have. Our weekend required heat and AC (of course, New England!). Both systems provided the necessary comfort.

Quiet, comfortable home

This is a lovely, newly renovated house in a very quiet location. We had 3 couples for a family get together with space for all at dining room table, living room and even at outdoor firepit without needing to move chairs everywhere. It did seem like they have not quite finished the update -no towel racks in any of the baths, minimal pots and pans and inability to adjust temp makes it a little less comfortable. Despite these few quirks I would recommend it and I would certainly rent it again.

Shared from the homeowner: "Thank you for your feedback, Jonathan. I’m sorry that you were not completely satisfied with your stay. I appreciated your input because it helps us to continually improve the experience for our guests. We now have an 8-piece pot and pan set, and we have added towel hooks to each bathroom. The heating/cooling system is controlled through an app since this house is environmentally friendly. We have also now added that the temperature can be controlled via a wall thermostat."

Very clean!

We needed a place to stay to be close by for my father’s funeral. Home was clean which is a top priority for me. Home was well stocked with linens and in the kitchen. Disappointed that we could not park in the driveway and was told to park in a steep hill. In owners defense it did mention that you could not park in driveway, I overlooked that in the description in haste while booking quickly. Would not book again because if that .

From the owner: "I’m sorry for your loss, Karen. I appreciate you taking the time to provide me with your feedback. During your stay, I had scheduled for some contractors to service the equipment in the basement so they needed access to the garage and driveway. I will keep your concern in mind and will grant access to use the driveway as much as possible."

Great house and great location

We loved our stay at this home. Super clean, spacious and very comfy beds. Service Fees are too high though. We’ve rented quite a few places and never had double fees before.

Perfect Stay!

Our family stayed in this lovely home for Wesleyan’s homecoming weekend and it was fantastic! The location is close to campus and right across the street from a beautiful lake. The house is spacious and clean with all the thoughtful amenities you could need. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in the neighborhood. Thanks for making our stay so wonderful Caroline!

VERY NICE

The house is amazing! I was impressed how clean it was! There is a lot of space, including a game room on the second floor. All the appliances and furniture seemed new and well maintained. 5 min walk there is a lake with a little beach there. It was beautiful in the fall and I think that in the summer must be really nice for kids! Caroline was ready to help us with any questions that we had. It was a great experience and I recommend it!
