Great stay here! Overall, perfect house for a Great Lake weekend. Bathrooms are all very nice. Sectional in the main living room and carpet upstairs could be better but overall very nice property and great location!

Nice house but fruit flies were a problem. Hill down to the lake is really steep. But overall a great house.

Beautiful property

Property is beautifully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, great beds/sheets/pillows. Great location, right on the water with accessible dock.

Family Weekend

Great house right on the lake. Good size, we had 11 adults and 2 kids and there was plenty of space. Great communication too.

Family Getaway

We had a GREAT time! Everything was perfect from check in to checkout. The lake was a bit of climb, but overall it was great. We would definitely stay here again for a large family getaway!

Family visit

Excellent home that is just as it is described. Plenty of room for my family. This place has everything we needed. We will definitely try to stay here again!

Fourth of July fun

We took our family for the fourth enjoyed fireworks and house was very spacious and beautiful! Steep walk to water but great fun when you get there.

House has a good layout and is very clean. The only issue was we rented a pontoon and they won't let you take the boat under the bridge to this house so we had to drive to the marina each day.

Pickwick Getaway

Our family planned a quick getaway for the weekend. Our stay at this property was amazing. The owners were so wonderful. They suggested places to eat, even those by boat and grocery services we could take advantage of before our arrival. We had 14 family members and the house had more than enough room. The house was clean, inviting and well decorated. We would stay here again.

Easter Weekend 2024

Easy to find and great location, nice size bedrooms, open floorplan, quiet, safe and super comfy. Everyone loved the mattresses, water pressure and the Blackstone grills are amazing! ...the fishing was fun (broke two rods) and suprisingly larger catfish than we expected. Had a great RELAXING long weekend with seven adults and two childen, and this house was perfect for us.

Our group of 10 absolutely loved this house. There’s plenty of space for everyone and I especially appreciated the 5 full bathrooms. The kitchen is nice and big with plenty of pots, pans, etc. Both the kids and the adults loved the game room which has ping pong, pool, shuffleboard, darts, ring toss plus cornhole outside. We rented a pontoon at a nearby marina. The marina wouldn’t let us pull the pontoon up to the dock because the house is in the other side of a low bridge but it’s literally a two minute drive from the marina so it was fine. The showers and water pressure were great and the Wi-Fi worked well for us. My mom really loved the deck overlooking the lake. Communication, check in and check out was all easy.

Good space for everyone

Very nice house - we had a group of adults and this provided lots of room for everyone to gather or find quiet time. We didn't use the game room or downstairs bedroom but it would be nice addition for those who needed or wanted it.Kitchen is spacious and had everything we needed. Beds are very comfortable and really appreciate having bathrooms for each room. Bring extra toiletries (soap, etc) and supplies if staying more than 2-3 days as that was quite limited.Location is very close to marina (rent a pontoon from Pickwick Pontoon rentals - great people!) but is still very quiet. Lovely neighborhood - very hilly and wooded.Personally, I would prefer the deck to be swept prior to our arrival but in a wooded location I understand that isnt a certainty.Nice lake house - perfect for larger group or families with kids who want space and activities when not on the lake.

The house was in a great location on the lake close to everything. The house could have been cleaner. When we arrived there were crumbs on the floor the cleaners didn’t clean up. No trash bags were left out to put new trash in. The trash bins outside were full of trash and it was all over the place from as what my children call trash pandas (squirrels, raccoons). Laundry was left in the dryer with the fresh towels. We did contact Jodi and she tried to help as best as she could. We did bring our boat (G25) and it was great being able to tie up to the dock. The tower on our boat is able to lower all the way down so we fit underneath the bridge, It was definitely close going underneath the bridge. Over all we had a great time. We will definitely be back to pickwick lake.

Awesome & Beautiful Stay

Mrs Jenny was very accommodating and she answered all of our questions in minutes. She’s very responsive and is very nice. This property is gorgeous and was the perfect spot for my group of friends and family to meet together to hangout and fish. We brought 3 boats and kept them at the dock with us as well. If we get to go back to Lake Pickwick. We will be staying here.

5 Star Stay!

This home was perfect for our weekend getaway for a family of 12. I’ll start by saying the home is GORGEOUS! The owner, Mrs Jenny was so sweet and answered all of our questions before and during our stay. This home has plenty of sleeping spaces for a large family. The home was stocked with everything we needed and more. Lots of dishes, extra blankets, sheets, towels, etc. Even the cookware was extremely nice (which is hard to find in a VRBO home). The dock was nice to sit on while the kids floated around in the water and and it was perfect for our boat to tie to for charging battery purposes. We had no issues and will definitely be staying here again. If you’re looking for a very nice home with plenty of space and is peaceful then this is it! 10/10 would recommend! Thank you, Mrs Jenny, for being so kind and opening up this home to us! We love this home and can’t wait to stay again.

Lake fun

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home on Pickwick Lake. Jenny was such a wonderful host there was no question she wouldn't answer. The home is beautifully done with a game room we all enjoyed. Steps to the lake for easy fishing. We would love to come back. Thanks Jenny!
