Truckee Vacation

The cabin is in a lovely, quiet location and is fully equipped for a family of five! We enjoyed the serene wooded area, local wildlife, and proximity to Donner Lake, Truckee, and Lake Tahoe. We will definitely visit again!!

Labor Day Getaway

We had an amazing time at this beautiful cabin. The cabin backs to a golf course and the surroundings were serene and quiet for our comfort and enjoyment. Loved the cozy cabin themed decor an and updated features. Perfect for our small family vacation. We would definitely come again!

Exceptional

The home is cozy, well appointed, and nicely decorated. It feels just like that, a "home" as opposed to a rental. The location is great, and it's very clear that this is managed by a host who cares and has a high attention to detail. We've stayed at numerous vacation rentals in the Tahoe Donner area, and this was by far and away the best.

Our Favorite

Such a lovely property! Newer appliances and decor. Very dog friendly - the wonderful back deck is enclosed with a gate. Everything was so comfortable we felt at home. Such peaceful and comfortable home.

Perfect House

What a great house, the house did not disappoint. It was clean, quiet, and had everything one would need for a great vacation!!! The home owner checked in mid week to make sure everything was going smoothly. This is a house I would definitely stay again.

Beautiful home!

So comfy and welcoming. The deck is great and it has a gate so it’s nice that it’s dog friendly. All the kitchen appliances are new, and the beds are comfortable. The listing does say a gas grill but it’s actually a pellet traeger. It’s fine but we had to change our cooking plans a bit. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely go back!

Gorgeous Property!

We just returned from a 4-night stay in this beautiful home. It is spacious, clean and oh so comfortable! The pictures accurately depict the cabin but of course it is much better in person. No detail has been left undone. The kitchen, bathrooms & laundry are all well equipped. I often bring our favorite oils/spices but learned there was no need here. There is an entire drawer of spices and a variety of oils are offered as well. The heated entry and bathroom floors were a welcomed touch. The huge leather couch with reclining ends was wonderful for watching TV and relaxing in front of the warm fireplace (it's gas and run by remote). The expansive deck out back overlooks the fairway and it is so peaceful to sit outside with your morning coffee. Granted we were there when very few other cabins were occupied and the golf course was closed for the season -- so it was definitely a quiet place for us. The path along the golf course made for beautiful walks. Scenery is stunning. The location is also ideal as it's within 5 minutes of a market/shops & downtown Truckee. My husband and I take these mini-trips often and this is by far the nicest place we've stayed. Thank you, Donna, for providing such a beautiful rental! We will definitely be back!

The cabin is wonderful!

We stayed in this cabin for 4 nights, over Labor Day weekend. The cabin is amazing! It is big enough for a family with kids. It is very spacious, clean and newly upgrated. All necessary items are included for the kitchen, bathrooms and laundry. I especially liked heated floor in the bathroom. The location is great too! It is close enought to all stores, Donner lake and community pool/gym, though you don't hear the freeway. It is very quite place with the deck/patio heading toward the golf course with some friendly chipmunk, coming to check if you have any nuts. If you like staying in a cabin most of the time, you won't regret renting it. However, there are a lot of activities around as well. I would definitely recommend renting it for the cute, beautiful cabin itself with wonderful and modern design and convenient location.
