We had a wonderful stay! The home was very clean, comfortable and in a great location in historic downtown. It's in walking distance of shops and restaurants, which was very convenient. Communication was excellent and everything was exactly as described. We really loved our time there and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!

The house was clean and very comfortable and situated on the banks of the Trucker River. The four of us and our dog had a wonderful time and plan to return.

Beautiful property on the river! Everything was clean and as described. We walked everywhere, watched the birds, had an easy drive to Donner and Tahoe lakes, and received a warm welcome from the town of Truckee! The host is an excellent communicator, which we appreciated. We will be back for sure!

This house was in a perfect spot. Right on the Truckee River and a five minute drive all to downtown. The pics are all accurate and Dinny is a very good host. We will try and stay here for every future Truckee trip.

Dinny was a fabulous host. There was a fire nearby and she helped us reroute. I also have a toddler and she dropped off a pack and play for us. The house is beautiful and well kept.

This was our second time staying. We love been close to downtown and right on the river. We tube down the river and it’s so nice to be able to get in or out right at the cabin. It’s a great place to stay with plenty of space for a family.

It was a lovely three night stay. The backyard River and hearing the water flow was magic. Great bed, kitchen and living room with lots of windows.

This house was perfect and the host is amazing. There are not many choices for comfortable rentals right on the river. This one was perfect for us in every way. The house felt more like staying at a friend's home rather than a vacation rental. It was comfortable, location couldn't be beat, and Dinny was not only on top of every detail but was also just friendly and kind. We will absolutely be renting this home again in the future.

This historic home on the Truckee River surpassed any expectations I may have had. Met up with a family member who spends summers in Truckee, and the home's location was perfect for exploring Truckee's historic district, which is only two blocks away with shops, great restaurants, a fascinating history museum, a walking trail along the river, a regional park, and more. The home is tucked away in a quite historic neighborhood where you can enjoy nature at her best from the gorgeous raised deck which looks out to the river and beyond. Dinny, the owner, was amazing to work with! The River House is a definite 10!!!

Dinny was very welcoming and communicative. The house was very comfortable, well stocked, and nicely appointed with great bathrooms and kitchen. We were there in the winter but the river access in the summer must be terrific!

This is our third time staying here, and it's as wonderful as ever. The house and location can't be beat. The view (and sound) of the river is amazing. Everything about the space is super comfortable, and the kitchen is really well equipped. We also appreciate the short walk to old town Truckee.

location was terrific, close to great walks and farmers market on tuesday. also lovely to walk to restaurants nearby. the house was fantastic and communicating with the owner was super easy. this house is definitely on our list to return to for many years to come.
