Welcome mermaids and mermen to Ozona, a friendly waterfront community located in Palm Harbor on the gulf of Mexico with a laid back vibe and easy access to six marinas as well as 45 miles of the Pinellas trail. Founded as a fishing village and seaside sanctuary, the Ozona bluffs have maintained a true small village unspoiled ambiance. Walk or bike down streets lined with old oak trees dripping with Spanish moss. Live like a local. . . hopping from serene sunset spots overlooking the sound, or hit one of the half dozen unique local restaurants or pubs accessible by golf cart. Located 3 miles from Dunedin, 2 miles from Honeymoon Island and 1 mile from downtown Palm Harbor this area offers an eclectic ensemble of dining options and not-to-be-missed coastal shopping. Trolley service is available just blocks away to chauffer you from Tarpon Springs to Clearwater Beach. Bring your boat (25’ or less) and keep it on the lift in your backyard (fee applies), or rent one and get out fishing, dolphin or manatee watching. Make a run out to one of the 9 islands in the inter-coastal waterway and have an entire beach with fabulous shelling all to yourself! House has just undergone renovations and is located on a quiet cul-de-sac on the water, with boat lift, dock, and canoe available. Driveway easily acommodates 2 vehicles. House if fully stocked and pleasantly decorated in an inviting coastal motif. Choose from the Tommy Bahama room with queen bed or the Surf Suite with dual twin beds and make space for additional guests on the pull-out couch. Enjoy water views from the spacious and open sun-room, lounge on the dock or bask after dark beside the fire pit and reminisce on your day. Let us help you customize your vacation to be as relaxing or activity packed as you would like.

House was just as expected. Lovely and clean. Adequately stocked and accessible to places we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again. However, we somehow missed the very nice bathroom in the garage until we were leaving.

Cutest house in the most quiet neighborhood. The dock out back was a nice bonus. We enjoyed our mornings out there watching the fish jump and the manatees eat.

What a delightful stay. We enjoyed finding all the interior and exterior decor related to "The Mermaid House" name. Our host was so very nice, helpful, and prompt to answer the questions we had. We marveled at how quiet the locale was, being on cul-de-sac street. The homeward very clean, family and pet friendly. A very enjoyable stay!

The house was just perfect for us. It’s in a super quiet street. There are great restaurants near by. We were able to bring our dogs and be very comfortable with a space in the back yard for them. The checking in and out was super easy.For a quite non commercial area to bring pets.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Mermaid House! The property was exactly as described, which made everything feel easy and stress-free from the start. We spent so much time fishing right off the dock, and having access to the kayaks to explore the bayou was such a fun bonus. The area was peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect getaway for our family to relax and enjoy time together. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a laid-back, family-friendly escape!

We loved our stay!! The property was clean, nice and quiet! You can tell this property is very well maintained! We had everything we needed plus some! Easy access out to the gulf with so many beautiful places to explore by boat! We definitely will be booking again!

Gorgeous Location and Charming Property

We absolutely fell in love with the view of the bayou and the Florida room for morning coffee. With the location walkable from the restaurants in Ozona, this is a fantastic find.

Great canal front home in a quiet neighborhood yet close to Ozona restaurants and the bike trail. Everything as advertised and the owners were very attentive and local.

Perfect house! Perfect location!

Cute waterfront home in the adorable town of Ozona. Close to downtown Palm Harbor and Tarpon Springs sponge docks.. Plenty to do and see. Close to the Pinellas Trail, breweries, and fantastic restaurants.
