While the property is quite nice, the town of Hunter had issued a boil water advisory prior to our check in and the host did not inform us. We drank the water for 24 hours before finding out from a local shop. Upon communicating this to the host they informed us they are not responsible for sharing issues like contaminated water supply to guests. We were disappointed that a luxury venue like this did not guarantee clean drinking water and will not be staying again

As previously communicated, StayMarquis notified you as soon as we became aware of the advisory. We also contacted the Village of Hunter directly to better understand its notification process and confirmed that these advisories are communicated through public notification channels rather than directly to property owners or representatives. The advisory was issued by the Village of Hunter and was not within the control of StayMarquis or the homeowner. Once we became aware, our team responded promptly by providing bottled water and assisting with your stay. We regret that this experience impacted your overall impression of the property. This house works really well for large groups. The layout up is excellent, with spaces to hang out and be together. The kitchen is the best-stocked kitchen we have had in a rental.

We had a great stay at the Lodge. All the amenities were exactly as described, the location was very convenient to hiking, restaurants, and markets. Great parking. The bedrooms were really comfortable and the entire space was great!

Our stay was perfect! The house was so spacious and great for our large group. We LOVED being able to cook and enjoy our Friendsgiving here. The house felt much larger than the pictures looked and communication from start to end was very clear. Would highly recommend!

Amazing house in a great location

The Lodge was amazing - there were only 11 of us but it would have fit many more! The decor and the bedding and the hot tub and surrounds were so lovely, and the house was stocked with many essentials. We did have some water problems which were out of control of the property owner and were handled very well and the communication from staff marquis was top notch. Thanks to them for sorting it out and making our remaining days great.

Beautiful and clean!

My group of 8 had a wonderful time staying in this house. First, it is very nice inside- and very clean. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was beautiful and very well appointed with anything you could need. We all felt we'd love to stay here again. The host Emmett was extremely responsive and very nice. We really had not a single complaint and would recommend!

Perfect for big families

The Lodge exceeded our expectations for our large multi-family group. The design, layout, amenities were all perfectly curated and it made the experience so comfortable and convenient for all. Kitchen was well stocked, ample seating indoor and outdoor, beautiful pool and Mountain View. Cant say enough great things about this rental and we have stayed in many. We hope to be back!!

We had a great stay at the lodge. Our group of 14 (plus two babies) fit extremely comfortably - there was plenty of room to relax and enjoy each others company all together or in groups. We loved the long dining table, big couch in the living room, the game room, and the hot tub. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms updated. Wed stay again!

This is our second time staying here and it remains a great place or a group to stay. The rooms are comfortable, clean and well appointed. The layout is conducive to gathering and hanging out and having a good time. Highly recommend!

College reunion

We had an excellent time at the Lodge. It was our first time back together with college friends since a number of us had children. The place was perfect and had everything we could ask for! Would stay again!

Had a great stay with a bunch of families and kids. Lots of bedrooms and space in the house was very well laid out. Right at the bottom of Hunter Mountain was key. Brand new hot tub was beautiful. highly Recommend!!
