Not being familiar with Texas area we were looking for something close to San Antonio which this isn't that close so we had to travel a little further than we wanted to. Especially when there's a lot of construction going on. A few issues inside needed attention like the hot water faucet wasn't working, garbage disposal, patched up ceiling, and the area was a little run down. Host was considerate and would give give a higher rating if inside issues were taken care of.

Thank you for your feedback. We're glad you found us to be considerate hosts. Our listing clearly notes that the property is located outside the San Antonio city limits. Because San Antonio is such a large metropolitan area, traffic and ongoing road construction can sometimes make travel times longer, and unfortunately those conditions are beyond our control. We do, however, work hard to keep our home well maintained and appreciate you bringing the maintenance items to our attention. We address issues as quickly as possible to ensure a comfortable stay for our guests. We also strive to offer a clean, comfortable home at a reasonable price, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us continue to improve. The grass was knee level and poison ivy growing on the busted patio furniture. We could not enjoy the outside because of the super long grass the mosquitoes were terrible. The outside trash can was completely full when we arrived so we had to sit our trash on top of the can. The curtains were to short a thin for the windows so you can see straight into the house. Most bedrooms had no TV. House is nice, but the host can put more effort into it!

Heavy rain during that period made it difficult to keep up with mowing, and the wet conditions also contributed to increased mosquito activity outdoors. Regarding the trash can, collection is scheduled for Wednesdays, and we regret if the disposal instructions provided in the home were not clear during your visit. We take the comments about the patio furniture, curtains, and televisions seriously and will be reviewing these areas to look for ways to improve the overall guest experience going forward.

We loved the place

We were in love with the property in the house whole Lotta space a whole Lotta room to sleep by enjoy themselves and it was a good time for everybody.

Graduation get away

We travel to San Antonio for my grandson’s graduation. The house more than accommodated the 10 of us comfortably. It was very clean and had all the basic essentials. The location was perfect for all the attractions we visited while there. Definitely will recommend it to my family and friends.

We were here in San Antonio for an annual reunion and dove hunt. What we liked most about the house is the fact that it had six bedrooms, the house was clean, and had lots of room. If we are welcome back, we would definitely stay on a regular basis.

Yes. There was an issue with the refrigerator. We did find that there was a leak coming from the water filter that was making a pool of water on the top tray. We put a bowl back there to collect the water and we would empty it periodically. There was also a broken chair on that someone just about fell through. We folded it up, so no else would sit in it.

Just OK

Extremely over priced for location. Needs TV in living room and master. Every bed had sheets on sideways. The amount charged for fees you would think it would be cleaner. Beware of “snacks” the chips expired over a year ago. The house is great for a large group but do your research on location.

Great Stay

First family trip for us in a while. Neighborhood was quiet and peaceful no issues with any of the neighbors. House was very spacious. Clean upon arrival. No major complaints just small suggestions.. a tv in living room would be nice. House needs a few updates. Some work on the upstairs balcony for safety reasons. Shower heads are the handheld ones with little to no pressure. Aside from that we enjoyed our stay.

Plenty of room

Property was in fair shape . No TV in living area or in larger bedroom. Needs deep cleaning . No coffee table in main room for gathering. Master bedroom mattress needs to be replaced. Bring you own bath soap and shampoo . Was close to where we were headed (Somerset) and nicer than a motel. But not as luxurious as photos suggest

Lack of Comforts

This property has the potential to be really nice. But…there were very dirty dishes in the cabinets that we had to wash in order to use. A couple of beds did not have sheets or those on it were inadequate. And there were no hand towels or wash clothes in any of the bathrooms.

Unfortunate

We really wanted to like this property especially since Iy was spacious for my 12 family members and I but everyday we found something wrong. From the mold in the bathrooms. The drainage in the main bedroom downstairs never receded the water so my mom couldn't take a shower and had to shower in another bathroom. The back door doesn't lock and at night it was nerve racking. The dishes were dirty and greasy so we had to wash them before we even used them which was annoying because we were barely left any detergent. No trash bag in any of the bathrooms or even the kitchen. It was an unfortunate situation.
