Thank you for your feedback. I'm very sorry your stay fell short of expectations. The great room does look out onto Mt Hood, but it's possible that the weather during your stay prevented some visibility. We also did let you know that the single stain on the lower-level carpet is an older paint stain from a past project. The carpets do get professionally cleaned regularly, but unfortunately the stain has not come out. We understand how this could have been mistaken for a pet stain, and we apologize for the confusion. We will do a full kitchen supply audit and work to add better driving directions for future guests. Housekeeping has not identified any signs of rodents but will keep a very close eye on this in future cleans. Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and for highlighting the private forest setting, the loft view of Mt. Hood, the spacious interior, the showers, and the BBQ — I'm so glad those features added to your experience. I’m sorry the cleaning, initial odor, and some outdoor upkeep fell short of expectations. That isn’t the standard we hold. We’ve scheduled a deep clean to remove cobwebs and dust and will have our team check for any lingering odors before arrivals. The patio heater will be inspected and repaired or replaced as needed, propane tanks will be confirmed full prior to guest stays, and grounds maintenance (including mowing) is being arranged. Thank you again for the constructive feedback — it will help us make meaningful improvements.
