Private Modern Retreat with Private Pool

Contemporary, custom, open floor plan with walls of windows to take in the stunning mountain and desert views from almost every room! Designed by local modern architect. Secluded, private, quiet lot, on one acre with patios and pool. Minutes to downtown, convention center, ASU, and the airport. Walk from your door to two of the most popular trails of South Mountain Park/Preserve, The Mormon Trail and the Geronimo Trail which connect to 51 miles of hiking, biking and horseback riding trails of the largest municipal park in the country,16,000 acres. Runners can quickly access the canal trails for a nice run. Many great golf courses nearby and centrally located close to spring training and the convention center!

Friends refer to this house as whimsical, colorful and the Alice in Wonderland house. It is full of fun, funky and colorful modern furniture and art including tea pot and hour glass collections and artwork by Ron Burns and Michael Lieu. There are four bedrooms, three have queen beds and the fourth has a full bed and a pull out sofa. Master bedroom is located at opposite wing of other bedrooms offering privacy for the master and the guests! Gourmet kitchen with large island, stainless appliances and an eat in kitchen, as well as a formal dining with fantastic Arizona sunset views and seats eight. The master has amazing mountain views and the master bath has a large soaking tub and walk in shower.

This open floor plan is great for entertaining and relaxing by the stack stone," fire and ice" fireplace. View the nature of the desert from every room including, quail, coyotes, rabbits and hummingbirds! Perfect for tranquil stargazing at night by the pool! This home is unique and architecturally pleasing and just fun to be in!

The garage is over sized and can fit three cars, tandem. There is plenty of parking and RV parking is allowed.
Pool can be heated for an additional $30/day. Please let us know upon booking.

Beautiful Home at South Mountain

This is our fourth stay at this beautiful home in South Mountain. Perfect location in a quiet neighborhood with lots of space between houses. A great view and close to two hiking trails. We love this house!

Perfect South Mountain Location

Great location, beautiful view, lots of space, heated pool, great communication with the owner. We love this place. It feels like home. We've stayed here for the past 3 years and we'll be coming back next year!

Colorful and fun

We stayed here as a larger family group and everyone loved the property. The location was perfect with it backing up to the mountains/hiking trails but only being a few minutes from shopping and dining. The home had a great pool, the neighborhood was quiet, and the decor/artwork was so fun!

Great property backyard looks out to the southern mountains. 5-20 min from many things. The kids loved the pool. Great host communication.

Amazing!

Everything was amazing! We had beautiful views out of every window and whimsical decor to delight the designer in all of us! We had everything we needed and more to enjoy our stay and outdoor space to explore! We can’t wait to return!

Mountainside retreat

Beautiful natural surroundings and an artistically designed house made for a perfect couples retreat. Loved the privacy and yet also close proximity to hiking trails. House was well equipped with all we needed and the host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Incredibly beautiful house with a picture perfect Mountain View.

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. The house is exquisite and very special. The decor was fun and playful, the bedrooms, so very comfortable. The kitchen is incredible. This house is a treat, we are so glad to have had the opportunity of spending time there.

Best Contemporary House in Phoenix

Can't say enough about the great holiday that we had at this house in Phoenix. The contemporary design of the house and the layout made for an exceptional 3 weeks. The location on South Mountain had good access to freeways to get around the town, hiking, and the area provided all we needed for shopping/substanance/activities.

Stunning and fun!

We had a wonderful time. This house is beautiful. The artwork is fun and eclectic. It’s minutes from everything and a very short walk to The Mormon Trail. We loved it. Two patios, plenty of room anf amazing hosts. This was a wonderful time!

She has 20 plus years as a real estate agent, specializing in the area and is very knowledgeable. She enjoys the hiking, the beautiful views, the small town feel and the close proximity to downtown, the airport, ASU and all other parts of the valley. She believes this area has always been the best kept secret!

Beautiful and unusual home that is cheerful and fun to be in! The home is minutes to shopping, spring training, downtown, golfing, and most activities. It is a very short walk to two popular hiking trails and the canal trails. The setting is private and tranquil with the feeling of being far away, while still minutes from all of the great Arizona activities!
