Perfectly clean, very enjoyable stay. Close to the enough to the city to not be inconvenient but far enough away to feel private. Master shower has a massive bathroom shower. Some items for management: Master suite toilet seat needs to be replaced, front stairs handrail needs repair, and probably could use blackout curtains in the master. Neighbor has a really bright light at night.

House was great but we had no power from Friday night at about 10:30 and it was supposed to be back on by 7am. Which was bad enough but actually did not come on until about 10:30 am. Which destroyed all of our early wake (5am) and breakfast plans before Oktoberfest. Since that was about half of our plans and absolutely zero compensation was offered, regardless of how nice the house was we would never stay there again and we come every year.

Beautiful home

Would stay again—pictures and description are accurate, great location, comfortable, fun having a pool table (although not quite level but it was ok). Overall, really wonderful!

Fantastic property, great stay

We loved our stay at Eagle Mountain Lodge. Check in was easy, house was very clean upon check-in. We loved the layout, all one level, large kitchen with every amenity you could imagine. Kids loved the pool table and tv in every room. Beds were comfortable, pillows could use an upgrade though. We loved the neighborhood, close to everything but far enough away to feel private. We would definitely stay here again, thank you Destination Big Bear!

One level lodge

Large open kitchen, dining, livingroom. Almost soundproof bedrooms - great privacy. Safe for children. Clean and comfortable!

Siblings Couple Retreat

The home was cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was well-equipped with a wide variety of cooking tools—no need to bring anything beyond your usual seasonings. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable mattresses and warm bedding provided. It was a nice touch that shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were available in case you forget to pack your own.The front porch was charming, and the large back porch was perfect for relaxing. The neighborhood was peaceful and quiet, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I reached out to the owner through the website with a couple of questions, and they responded quickly and helpfully.I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

It's not just about the house.....

the property is very nice, but the inference that this is a luxury property is misleading, they need to up the basic amenities, for example nice gourmet kitchen, but didn't have salt, foil, oil, plastic wrap and more, this is a big deal when your cooking a lot. Closets locked in two of the rooms was a surprise and inconvenience. Overall the vibe was unwelcoming; pair that with all the parking restrictions and threat of fines left our party feeling very watched and unwelcomed, it's really too bad because it is a beautiful place, but we will not be returning to this part of Big Bear Lake.

AWESOME BREAK FROM IT ALL WITH GREAT SLOPES NEARBY

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The living spaces, bathrooms and kitchen were clean and the kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare extensive meals for large groups. The wifi was pretty good. FYI cell reception in BIg Bear is pretty dodgy especially on the slopes which is mind boggling. All in all great stay. Would have loved it if there was a jacuzzi outside but not a must. Thanks and see you next year!

Quick weekend getaway

We saw on the weather app on Tuesday that snow would be falling on Saturday. We booked this place on a whim that Tuesday because of the price, size, and location. Even before we booked, Destination Big Bear answered all of my family’s questions really quickly. Check in was a breeze and the home exceeded all of our expectations. It was one of our child’s first time seeing snow and the large backyard allowed us to spend quality, safe time together out there making memories to last a lifetime. Our next trip, we will definitely look at more Destination Big Bear property.

Perfect home for a weekend big bear trip!

This house was the perfect size for our group! We were 11 guests total and everyone had a bed to sleep in. Beds were comfortable, living room was spacious, and kitchen was perfect! Can’t wait to be back in big bear. Will definitely be renting this house again!
