This home is lovely and interesting! Everything from the beautiful woven rugs to the unique lighting fixtures to the clever fire places & chimneys were delightful.The host answered a zillion questions early on to help us with our planning.The visits from the deer were kinda magical!Given a friend’s myriad of quite serious allergies the outside spaces, the sweet gazebo and the huge patio and deck off the master sweet meant we had plenty of lovely space to enjoy together outdoors!Highly recommend this lovely home!

The Perfect Place for Our 25th Anniversary Celebration!

We stayed at Stylish + Serene West Friendship Hidden Gem for our 25th Wedding Anniversary Weekend, and it was absolutely wonderful!The home was beautiful, spacious, peaceful, and incredibly comfortable. The rooms were large, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, and the quiet setting made it feel like a true getaway.The kitchen was spacious and very well stocked, which was especially important for us since we were preparing food and hosting family during the weekend. The bathrooms were clean, roomy, and well supplied, and having a full laundry room was another great convenience.What we appreciated most was that the home gave us room to gather and celebrate while still feeling warm and comfortable. The outdoor space was also beautiful and added so much to our anniversary weekend.This home became part of a very special milestone for our family, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate 25 years of marriage. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, quiet, well-appointed home in West Friendship.Thank you for helping make our anniversary weekend so memorable!

The place was secluded and such a hidden gem. My friends and I had a great time cooking in the kitchen, bonding around the fire pit, and enjoying the being surrounded by nature in between our other obligations for our trip. The pool table was also a hit. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

A beautiful home and property! Convenient to amenities yet a world away from the hustle and bustle. We spent a family Christmas here and it was perfect. The professional kitchen was amazing to cook in (well stocked!), the beds were comfortable, and the outdoor space gave our large group room to spread out. We loved the pool table and the large dining table. A sunny space with high quality fixtures and furniture. Highly recommend.

Had a wonderful time with our family. Outdoors is great for kids. Inside is perfect for entertaining.

Beautiful place

This place was quite, serene, beautiful and nice. Only complain was that the pillows were older and had odor and the throw blankets in the closets all were stale and had body odor from previous use.

Repeat visit

This is the second year we have stayed in this house. Did not disappoint. Property managers are extremely responsive. Our stay was great!

Great stay

Felt more remote than it is, which is just what we wanted. Spent lots of time in the gazebo. Odd design so that light shines into bedrooms from other rooms at ceiling, but slept great anyway. Well stocked and clean, very comfortable. We would return for another family get-together.

Different in a good way.

Really cool unique house. With all the things and more that you need for a weekend getaway. Comfortable spaces for hanging around and whenever you’re ready for bed a clean cozy place to sleep away from the main house.

great spot for a family reunion

The house and property were large and roomy and as advertised. There were a couple of small glitches that were remedied moments after contacting the host. We even received a prompt refund for 2 tanks of propane we purchased. Hosts were exceptionally responsive and happy to help us. Would stay there again!!

Beautiful place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Only suggestion was that the pillows get updated, some had funky odors from previous use and it made iy hard to use. Also the blankets in the closet were all very stale and had odor of previous use which made it hard to enjoy or use any of them. I would still rent this place. Beautiful place

With limited house rental options nearby, this house works

The backyard patio was great and we lucked out with nice weather to enjoy. While the primary bedroom was comfortable, the other guests all complained about uncomfortable beds. Property could use some attention- primary bedroom tv didn’t work. Property guide that includes how to use outdoor fire pit would be helpful. Kitchen and laundry room could use a deep clean.

A lovely and interesting house!

I was a bit hesitant about renting this home, the pictures on-line did now show the bathrooms (all 2.5 are great and there are ample towels and amenities provided) and the space looked cramped. I could not have been more wrong! What an interesting, lovely, impeccably clean, unique home! The moment we stepped into the house I was impressed with the furnishings! Yes, it is quite eclectic, but it works really well! The bedrooms are large and well-furnished and the bedding was very nice, and all the mattresses on the beds were very comfortable...we all agreed that everyone had a great 2 night's sleep! :) The pool table is a fun addition to the great rooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal and there is ample seating space at the dining table or the smaller dining tables around the great room. The mid-century vibe is felt throughout the house from the funky lighting to the two built in fireplaces. Most importantly, the entire house is windows so the views from each room in the house is amazing. When we arrived, we saw two fawns on the lawn! The outdoor area is HUGE with amazing views! If we ever find ourselves in the Baltimore area, we will definitely stay again!

Not for us.

This was our first VRBO experience and this place looked like a dream, we opened the door and instantly got slapped in the face with a smell..... Some thought mildewy, I smelled fish.... The furnishings we're beautiful in the living space. Went back to the bedrooms /bathrooms - beds are small, your choice is a full or twin. The room I chose 2 of the lights on the ceiling didn't work and the bedding was white with black fuzzies on them, I can see she washed it with black pillows but still did not seem appealing to lay my head on these.. she did have extra pillows I used. The bathroom wasn't cleaned, sink and faucet was filthy. We then started putting away food and noticed an ant family had moved in on the counter. I called the owner just to report things as I didn't want blamed for scuffs on the wall, ants, THE SMELL, asked if the property had been cleaned? (Even the floors had debris from not being swept?) Property owner (whom was very nice) apologized and said that the previous people left the place in disrepair, broke the bathroom door and cooked something putrid prior to leaving.... She said the sink was stained like that, however I cleaned it? And she did say the home had been cleaned. We enjoyed most of our time in the gazebo to be out of the smell, however there is a new home being built next door with a family w 3 small boys that kept the neighborhood very lively well just say. Between them playing and construction it was hard to find peace outside. ☹️

Great family gathering spot! We booked to prep for an engagement party near by. The kitchen was perfect for the 8 of us and to prep for the event. Everyone enjoyed the pool table and having their own space when needed. Would stay here again!
