Quaint stay in Columbia

Convenient, comfortable and clean townhouse - close to town center. We enjoyed our time visiting friends and family and had a comfortable place to rest our heads.

Great stay!

Great location and cozy accommodations! We were in town for a wedding. The house had everything we needed for a long weekend. There was plenty of room for my husband & i, our teenage son, and our daughter, her 1 yr old, and fiance. There was a variety of stores and restaurants nearby, but the neighborhood was very quiet. Highly recommend!

Perfect location

We stayed here to be able to make runs pinto BWI airport and the US Naval Academy in Annapolis. The number of bedrooms was perfect for us, the bathrooms were located efficiently, the kitchen accomodated the prep of the few meals we ate there. We appreciated the yard chairs so morning coffees were a calm way to start the day on the deck. Having snacks and coffeepods provided was nice.

Party of Five

The property worked out great for our family of five with three late teen young adult children. Great location. Great communication. I would definitely recommend the listing to others.

Good place to stay

Good location within minutes of lakes, walking paths, mall and grocery stores. 3-story house with 2 bedrooms upstairs plus bath, and a bedroom on the lower level plus bath. Good for privacy when multiple adults visiting. Kitchen was fully stocked with pans, dishes and bowls making it easy to cook meals. Note that visitors need to be able to readily climb stairs so house is not great for elderly visitors. Recommend this house!

Great Stay!

Danielle’s homes was wonderful! We have recently moved to the area and we are waiting on the closing of our home. Danielle’s home made the transition easy! Close to great restaurants and a wonderful walking trail! In all the years of booking through VRBO I have never had a stay with comfortable beds. The beds in Danielle’s home were so comfortable! Never woke up with a backache! There was great communication and that is always so helpful. We will definitely stay again!

Short but sweet stay

I was worried a little after reading a prior review. Happy to say that I didn't have the issues they did. In fact since the property is listed as pet friendly I was pleased to see how well it is cleaned. I don't really enjoy pet hair since I don't own pets. The location was quiet and convenient to stores and everything else. The kitchen was well stocked which was cool since we did a lot of cooking. I look forward to renting again. Thanks, Nate

You will have to manage your expectations with this property. While I know “cleanliness” is subjective, our experience is that this home is dingy and either needs a deep clean or better cleaning crew guidelines. Towels and linens are stained and very worn, toothpaste on walls, and a bathing suit sanitary liner was stuck to one shower curtains, for starters. I even found a bowl that was clearly never cleaned and just put back in the cabinet. While I’m certain the manager would have addressed this, we were only going to be in town a few nights for a lacrosse camp at Blandair Park, so it wasn't worth bringing up. The proximity to the park was ideal (only minutes away) and the convenience alone made the rest bearable. We could never get the wi-fi to connect no matter how many times we reset the router and the TVs were also not working. None of the blow dryers worked and the standing fan we tried in one of the rooms upstairs barely blew any air because filter was so clogged. Again, the manager was friendly, but did ask whether it was okay for an inspector to come into the VRBO to inspect solar panels. Even if it would only be a minute, I think making a request like this to a renter puts them in an awkward position. We respectfully declined. In all, the whole house seems just thrown together (one picture is hung upside down and one with plastic still on it) giving vibe of no real effort to any attention to detail. We feel this is a place to crash, not vacation.

Had we known, we would have gladly sent our team over to address any cleaning concerns, replace any linens or towels, troubleshoot the Wi-Fi or TVs, and provide replacement hair dryers immediately. Our goal is always to resolve concerns while our guests are still with us so they can fully enjoy their stay. Since your visit, we’ve replaced the Wi-Fi router, and we’ve also reviewed your feedback with our housekeeping team to reinforce our cleaning standards and attention to detail. Feedback like yours helps us continue improving the guest experience. Regarding the request for the brief solar panel inspection, we completely understand your decision to decline. We always ask our guests first because we respect their privacy and comfort, and there is never any obligation to accommodate a maintenance request during a stay. Pictures are not consistent with property

We used to live in the Howard County area (Ellicott City then Fulton) and just moved last year so we were looking for a place to stay while in town. We booked this property because of the location and because the pictures and description seemed to be a good fit for a family of 6 (including an infant). However, the property was very small and dark. The floors were not clean and the countertops in the kitchen and dining area were sticky. One of the bedrooms smelled bad and the other with the small bed had stains. The laundry was tucked away in a small area/storage/closet in the basement. Due to these issues, we did not complete our stay and checked into a Residence Inn, in Fulton, after an hour in the property. Though the owner/property manager disagreed with the cleanliness of the space, she offered to clean the house again. However, we did not believe it would be satisfactory as it would be too disruptive for our family/stay. It should have been cleaned in the first place. Additionally, cleaning the space would not improve the size of the property. Though the listing states that the house can comfortably sleep 10 people, this is not entirely accurate. There are sleeping areas for 10 people but it would be very difficult for 10 people to spend time together in the space. I would not recommend this property. Lastly, owner has not offered any refund or any other remedy though we did not stay in the property.

It is unfortunate that you felt this way about out home. The house has three bedrooms, each with queen size beds. Additionally, there is a full size sofa sleeper, an additional twin size sleeper in a fourth bedroom and a queen size air mattress. The number of beds alone would have accommodated 6 guests as you indicated in your reservation. We contacted you multiple times offering to clean the home again, we sent pictures and video of the post cleaning inspection as well for your review. We messaged you multiple times in the app and you refused to respond back to us with the number of guests you were trying to accommodate or allow us the opportunity to make things right for you. Finally, when you mentioned the pictures do not match the listing, all pictures we sent of the post cleaning inspection all match the pictures in the listing. This review seems a bit retaliatory and unfortunate that you would not allow us the chance to make things right.

We were there for our son’s wedding and needed space for 5-6 adults. It was strategically located for our running around. The owner was very good about communicating with us if we had questions. It was nice to have the extra space compared to a hotel room. It was a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood.
