In our initial contact with the guest, he continued to ask for a discount. He booked for 2 people. We became aware that he had brought 5 additional guests (his 4 kids and a senior parent). *We do not have additional charges for 7 guests. We were also aware that he brought a big dog with him at check in which he never mentioned or added when booking. When questioned about it, he claimed there was no place on the platform to add a pet and further stated that they didn’t bring the dog initially (to avoid extra charges). He later asked for us to extend his visit a third time because the kids were enjoying the private beach. At this point, we didn’t feel comfortable with his many omissions. *All fees are listed on our description. *Our home is professionally cleaned before each stay. A cleaning team was immediately notified. The request was refused by the guest. *There is a beautiful, private beach called "Little Beach” 30 seconds away. *Our home undergoes regular pest control. *Upon inventory check, our $200 seagrass rug was missing immediately when they left and screen door was ripped. We strive to provide a welcoming and transparent experience for all our guests and appreciate the cooperation and honesty from everyone we host.

We’re disappointed by this rating. Salma left our home in an unusually messy condition including drenched towels on the floors and the hot tub required significant additional cleaning by a professional to accommodate our next guest. We’re always happy to accommodate guests, but we do expect the property to be left in a reasonable condition as outlined in our house rules.
