Great House! Nice Location!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This property was really nice. The location was perfect for getting around Hilo and Puna. Nice and quiet except for the coqui frogs. The place was super clean! Three geckos were my roommates. Super lucky and zero bugs! Air conditioning in the one room worked awesome considering it was super hot while I was staying there. Don't pass this place up!

Gina, the property manager was very prompt and went above and beyond to assist us with any questions or requests. She was very friendly and we couldn’t have asked for a better property manager! We loved Uncle Roberts every Wednesday night and the Volcano National park is only 30 minutes away. The property had everything we needed for our month long stay. We would definitely stay at this property again. Thank you for a wonderful, peaceful time.Trudi and Adam

Lovely vacation spot!

We really loved this house! We were looking for a spot in HPP to visit our daughter and her husband for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays and this house was perfect! It is nicely decorated with comfortable beds. It had all of the necessary kitchen equipment. We did have to supply some toilet paper and paper towels but there was plenty to get us started. There are nine laundry facilities. The interior was clean and well maintained. The floors had a few unfinished spots but nothing major. My only suggestion would be to please replace the light bulbs with brighter ones! I like to read before bedtime and there seriously wasn’t enough light! But we were there to visit with family and we had a great time! Thanks again for a great stay!

Dark, Desolate & Depressing

Rating Details: The vacation rental was very dirty. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: Covered parking, Washer & Dryer.Cons: Very dark (we had to go buy brighter lightbulbs and move bedroom lamps to the living room). The foliage is very close to the house so you seen nothing and it feels desolate. Not close to Hilo or restaurants or anything. Can’t sit outside due to MOSQUITOS. Major Bad: COCKROACHES IN THE KITCHEN CUPBOARDS. We couldn’t leave soon enough.

Aloha, we truly apologize for any inconviences during your stay. We recommend letting your on island host if you see any bugs as we can get someone out there to spray for bugs. We overall hope you were able to enjoy your stay.

Nice stay

Overall it was a nice house. We didn't get to look around much of the house but it was very private and spacious. House instruction was pretty straight forward and the house was clean. There were enough kitchen supplies including pots, pans, plates and utensils but there was no condiments or oil so you should bring your own.

Perfect location for a quiet getaway in paradise!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and yard were very well maintained and the house was the perfect size for our family. The location is very private and is close to a lot good activities. Neighbors were friendly and quiet. My daughter had fun exploring the big yard and finding fruit on the trees!
