Peaceful Wilderness Cabin with Private Streamside Setting Near Townshend, Vermont
The camp is for up to 4 guests. Stay in nature at its best with a Rustic cabin camping experience. (no power completely off grid!) with a 3-season rustic cabin, rustic wood burning stove for chilly nights (seasonal-early spring/fall dates vary from year to year), full-size bed, full-size sleeper sofa, and 2 upper bunks with 2 twin-size beds. You have a camp kitchen with all you will need for campfire cooking. Drinking water. Solar lighting. Fire pit with endless camp wood. Outhouse and solar shower (no hot water).
Guest access
Guest parking is by the kayaks. Campsites are only Accessible with a 4-wheel drive and good undercarriage clearance.
Other things to note
This is a rustic camping experience. Everything is off-grid and you will be staying with nature at its best. We do have bugs, ants, spiders etc. We do use natural deterrents to help. But please be aware they are there and you will see them from time to time. AT&T and tmobil are the only cell phone service that works here. Verizon does not work at all.

I have never stayed somewhere this nice, clean, well stocked, and friendly! I was honestly expecting pretty much bare bones, the price was so reasonable. I was only booking for a night, so I wasn’t worried. BOY WAS I WAY OFF. This hostess adoringly kind, met us at where the GPS drops us, and then lead us to the campsite so we did not get lost. They were FULLY STOCKED “general stores” for each camp and a private outhouse, as well as an outdoor kitchen with everything you need. She brought us hot water right when we got there (it was cold and chilly) so the kiddos could have hot chocolate. I could go on and on about how wonderful this was. As a mom camping with two young kids, I’m so grateful I stumbled upon this camp. Surely will be back!!! Hospitality, location, and price are all top tier.
