Reviews say that the photos don't do his sweet cottage justice. They also mention that it is extremely clean, has beautiful views and that the location is ideal. Only 1.5 miles from town, this waterfront cottage features a screened porch with wide views of Long Haul Creek. It has three spacious bedrooms and sits on a private two-acre estate with ample, hassle-free off-street parking. Step inside this light-filled home where gentle sea-glass colors and waterfront views set the tone for a peaceful, romantic, or family escape.
The spacious open style living area with dining for six overlooks beautiful Long Haul Creek making it an inviting place for friends and family gatherings. The fully stocked kitchen and family room are conveniently located to the main entertainment area. Master bedroom and bath are on the first level with two bedrooms, and a full bath upstairs. Enjoy your coffee on the screened in porch and deck where you can watch the boats go by to nearby St. Michaels harbor. A kayak and canoe are available to paddle the creek and the Miles River, and bikes are supplied for a short ride to town.
Have fun fishing and crabbing from the 100' dock with a depth of 7'.Extra slips are available in case you or your guests arrive by sea. Also, we have access to a local crabber if your crew is interested in crabs or in a genuine eastern shore experience crabbing on the boat. Please let us know if interested. Please note: this property requires a signed lease agreement. Please note there are two homes on the property. The main house is the subject of this listing. The guest house is 40-50 yards from the main house and is not included in the listing.

Beautiful house and great location. Short walk into town and plenty of things to keep us busy at the house. Crabbing from the dock was great.

Beautiful location and house was so nice and relaxing. Firepit was so great and the view of the water was perfect. The house was clean and had everything you need for your stay!

Every part of this stay was perfect. Great property/land, and fantastic cottage. We'd love to stay here again and have recommended to friends and family. The pictures don't do it justice.

Excellent second stay!

We had a wonderful second year staying at the cottage while our kids attended CBMM camp. The house provided plenty of space and activities both indoor and outdoor. We especially loved swimming and kayaking this year!

The house is in a terrific location adjacent to the Miles River Yacht Club and just a short drive to the center of St. Michaels. The dock has plenty of depth for a mid sized power boat and is only a short walk from the house. This property is a perfect location for relaxing and enjoying the water.

We never thought it could beat the first trip there, but the weather was spectacular. We love the place so much, getting schedule together for number 3!

Writing Retreat bliss

This cottage is a perfect venue for a personal or small group retreat. The setting is lovey and evocative, beautiful even when it rains. the cottage has many areas to escape to and is well appointed.

Lovely waterfront

We enjoyed staying at this home. It was close to town but quieter than being in town. The floor plan was convenient. The home was well decorated. The manager was very accessible.

You can’t beat the view! Lovely! The house was very clean and comfortable. The master room bed and the towels were cushy and comfortable. I wish there had been darkening shades in the bedroom but otherwise it was a great place to stay

College reunion!

It was a Big Chill weekend of old friends. We had such a lovely time catching up in the comforts of your beautiful house. Thank you for a great time. (More details: lots of towels, comfortable beds, beautiful views, quiet neighborhood, spacious gathering space and a fun town to explore. This house has it all!)

Beautiful cottage getaway!

Our family of four had a wonderful stay at this cottage on the river. The home was well stocked, and had a lot of games for the kids. There are numerous outdoor activities provided and the view out the back of the house is stunning. Check-in, check-out, and communication with the host we're all seemless. We will be back next summer, thank you!

Welcoming home. Cozy and comfortable. Lovely and peaceful moments from screened in porch and dock. Well appointed kitchen. Easy trip into town. House as advertised but note bath towels provided but no hand towels or wash cloths. I would have planned for that, had I known.

Perfect weekend, beautiful location

We try to get down to the area every year and rent a VRBO on the water somewhere and while we always enjoy our time at the bay, THIS weekend was perfect! The home was absolutely wonderful, beautiful, comfortable, quiet. The beds were great and sheets/towels were soft. Someone had returned some dirty pans to the cupboard but that’s wasn’t a big deal at all and everything else was truly spotless. The kayaks were in great shape and the property outdoor areas are also very well maintained. This home is definitely loved and well cared for. We didn’t bring our dog but there was no evidence of pet hair or anything at all from previous renters. We had 3 teen-adult kids upstairs and they all enjoyed their space. The proximity to town was great for walking or biking. Thank you for sharing your home! We look forward to returning next year!
