Welcome to Chasin' Waves at Carolina Beach! Chasin' Waves is a 2-bedroom, 2-bath, oceanfront condo! Wake up, take a deep breath of ocean air, feel the warm sun on your face, exhale. Relax - you are at the beach! Where else can you take in a breathtaking sunrise and a great cup of coffee on your private balcony, then stroll down the beach to the boardwalk and grab some Britts donuts for breakfast?! That's just the start of many incredible memories you'll make visiting Carolina Beach. We love this island and we are happy to share both the island and our home with you!

New in 2023: New bedroom furniture in both bedrooms, new mattresses and new box springs! We include all linens, sheets and towels with your rental! We believe a great vacation starts with a good night's sleep which is why both bedrooms are equipped with room darkening curtains. The master bedroom is equipped with a ceiling fan, a 45" HDTV, an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity, a closet with hangers, as well as a small private deck. We keep a small black fan in the closet of the master bedroom for additional air flow or to use as a sound machine to help you sleep!

The guest bedroom also has a closet and direct access to a bathroom with a stand up shower and extended vanity. There are additional blankets in the closets and extra towels under the bathroom sinks.

Our dining room table is equipped with a butterfly leaf, so please feel free to make it larger or smaller to accommodate your group.

The living room is equipped with a 45" HDTV, a ceiling fan, and a sleeper sofa with an upgraded queen “cool dreamz” mattress. And last, but certainly not least, the oceanfront porch is large enough to comfortably accommodate seating for multiple people. There is a small high top table, 2 swivel chairs and 2 stools. You can also use our high-boy beach chair or any of the kitchen stools for additional seating. We plan to add a few more seats this summer!

Parking! 1 reserved space directly under the building and 1 additional space in the lot directly across the street.

This was an amazing place to stay. Very comfortable, beautiful view and well stocked kitchen so we could cook. We also appreciated the beach chairs. We would definitely stay here again!

Cleaners should be a bit more thorough with den floor and kitchen counters, but shower/bath remodeling explained tracks on master bedroom carpet and new shower’s great! Correspondence with host was excellent, and all in all, we really enjoyed our stay @Chasing Waves!

Great location, ocean view, clean condo. With unexpected issues with the master bath, Chris was generous to provide a discount on our stay. Was overall a nice place to stay. The north end of the island is quieter and makes for relaxing beach days. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay, once the master bath repairs are completed.

The house location was great. Easy access to the beach and walkable to central Carolina beach. The beds were both comfortable. Snacks and wine on arrival, plenty of items to get us through the long weekend, soap, shampoo, dish soap, hand soap, etc. We had a great time, thank you again for sharing your home.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. The property was accurately described, conveniently located, and we found everyone in town to be very welcoming. We especially enjoyed the amazing view and the easy 12-minute walk along the beach to the Boardwalk.I would definitely recommend your place to others. Our only minor issue was that on our final night, the guests staying above us were quite loud. Aside from that, it was an amazing trip and you were wonderful hosts.

There is a lot to like about this rental. The beach was spectacular- wide and flat. The location was terrific and beach chairs were top notch. New appliances & mattresses were great. Having discovered Blackburn Brothers Seafood Market we were able to cook fresh seafood The balcony furniture was very comfortable, and the owner was responsive when things popped up. The list goes on. For me, the place was worn - furniture, carpet, master bathroom, but I imagine that wouldn’t really bother a lot of people. Overall, the condo had more going for it than not.

We had a great stay! The condo was perfect for our weekend getaway! Cute, clean, and in the perfect location. The view was beautiful and we lucked out with gorgeous weather.We really appreciated the thoughtful welcome basket with snacks and a bottle of wine, such a nice personal touch! The beds were comfy, the appliances all worked well, and everything felt easy and relaxing.Overall, it was a wonderful beach condo and we’d love to stay again!

Great weekend getaway!

This rental was perfect for my kids and I to enjoy a weekend at the beach. It was comfortable, clean, and the view was awesome. The owner is a really great guy who cares about the home and cares about his renters. We can’t wait to plan another visit!

We chose Carolina Beach because it offered so many things to do, golf, fish, scuba, history, close proximity to Wilmington, and of course a beautiful and rejuvenating beach. We knew we didn't want to walk up more than 1 flight of stairs, so it had to be first floor. And we knew we wanted to be able to sit on our private balcony and enjoy a cup of coffee with a stunning sunrise. But we also knew that we would want things to do with the kids: Aquarium, Fort Fisher, Ferry to Southport, Boardwalk, Attractions ---- and we wanted to be close to a vibrant up-and-coming city full of culture, shopping, golf course - AKA Wilmington ---- and so this just checked all of our boxes.
