These recently upgraded and renovated families-only Apartments are conveniently located in the heart of Ocean City, just one and a half short blocks from the beach and boardwalk and a short walk to the bay. Each unit comes fully furnished and has 2 bedrooms. Each apartment has a new Queen-size bed in one bedroom, the other bedroom has new Twin-size bunk bed plus a new individual twin bed.Each living room has a sleep sofa, large eat in kitchen complete with microwave, coffee maker, blender and all eating and cooking utensils, and a full bath. Each unit has cable TV, new air conditioning, and either porch or patio. There are Ocean and Bay views from the second floor units. There is a grill on premise which is free of charge to our guests. Shopping, restaurants, churches, parks, boardwalk and most activities are within walking distance. Linens are not provided so please bring sheets/queen pillow cases and towels.

Close to beach

The carpets need taken out. Other than that the place was ideal. Very spotty internet and need another tv Owner was so nice

Clean and close to everything.

This is a very cute place that is close to the boardwalk and all activities at the beginning of the boardwalk. It was very clean. It is a small place, but perfect for small families. Jonathan was easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect spot for a short getaway

Great time!

We booked a very last minute holiday weekend and found the place to be SUPER clean and neat, in a great location and perfect for our family of four. Jonathan was an excellent host, super responsive and helpful. We will definitely come back again!

Good Time

I took my family to Ocean city for vacation and rented off Mr Burkley for a week. The house is located 2 blocks and easy access from the beach. The house has a warm comfort vibe to it very clean. There furniture on front porch to sit at. Also has picnic tables and adjustable charcol grill in back yard for cook outs. Mr Burkley very nice and courteous and helpful and pleasant to rent from. Very recomendable.

This property was perfectly located! It was exactly what we were looking for in a weekly rental at OCMD for a family of 5. Jonathan was very easy to work with and responded to all our questions and concerns. Unit was clean and had everything one would expect in a rental.

Short Trip

The owner of the property in very attentive and wonderful to rent from. I can't express how much we enjoyed our short stay. The property is in a very coinvent location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. I will definitely stay again

Great Location and Clean property

Great location for a family

This property and location was great for my family. It's a short walk to the beach and board walk. The only issue was parking, but once i found a spot. I didn't have to really drive any where. It also said their was a washer and dryer for us to share, when we got there they owner said due to covid we couldn't use it. But over all we had a great time.

Cozy stay and so close to the beach

Nice get away

This location is spot on. Super close to the beach, the bay, and the boardwalk. We enjoyed our “girls only” vacation. The only dislike I had was there wasn’t designated parking. Once you find a good spot don’t leave! Otherwise, this property was amazing! Look forward to booking again.

Long weekend filled with fun!

This was my first time staying in this property and my boys and I will be staying here again. Jonathan was awesome to work with and always available, before and during our stay, to help answer any questions or offer up a local recommendation. Our whole experience was great. Even in Hurricane Isaias, Jonathan left us stay a come hours to let the storm pass. Great place, great property manager!

Nice location

Jonathan was very easy to work with, very responsive, and provided us with an enjoyable stay. Location was nice, short walk to the boardwalk, and the on street parking was fairly smooth. Would definitely recommend this condo.

Short Getaway, Big Fun

We had a lovely stay at the Son of a Beach Properties. It is literally one street (and one alley) away from the beach and boardwalk. Rooms were quite, even with neighbors overhead and to the side, there was plenty of seating for meals together, and the beds were comfortable. One thing to note, you may want to bring your own blanket as the top covers a bit rough... But from 4 of us staying for 4 nights, that is the only less than thumbs up issue i could dredge up.

Son of the Beach 2019

Great experience!! Jonathan was courteous and condo was as depicted in the photos. Very nice, clean, and comfortable. Bobby is a hoot, and definitely worth paying to park in his lot for the week. Overall a great experience, and would definitely stay there again.

Nice place close to boardwalk

We enjoyed our stay here. We were minutes from the beach and boardwalk which was our goal. Jonathan was very accommodating during our stay and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a nice place close to everything.

Jonathan is amazing to work with, down to earth, and very accessible. The location is a short 3-5 minute walk to the beach and the boardwalk and the property was just as described. Definitely worth it!
