This property was so lovely. It was immaculately clean in a very quaint neighborhood within walking distance to many fine restaurants. The pictures do not do this justice. It is such a wonderful home that we absolutely loved. There is nothing that we wanted or needed for. I would stay here every time I come back to Walla Walla. This is definitely the nicest Vrbo I have ever stayed in. It is such a wonderful space and I can’t give this enough stars.

This was a perfect spot for 3 couples to spend a lovely weekend in walla walla. Loved the location being walkable to downtown. The house was clean and super well equipped. Wonderful Stay!We had an excellent stay and truly enjoyed the property. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The location was great, and we would definitely recommend this VRBO to others and stay here again. One small suggestion that would make the experience even more special would be a welcome basket or small treat upon arrival. We’ve stayed at several other VRBOs that provided a few thoughtful touches—such as local treats, snacks, coffee, or a bottle of water—and it was always such a nice way to be welcomed.Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would happily return. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location, it’s located walking distance to great restaurants and downtown wineries. The kitchen had everything you ever needed. We did have a little problem checking in, it was my fault I was sent the house code weeks earlier and I failed to bring it. The host was overseas on a much different time zone and did respond as soon as she could.

House was cute, clean, and had plenty of space for spending time with friends while also having rooms and bathrooms of our own. It was nice to have the option to walk into town. I would definitely see if this property is available to book for future stays in Walla Walla. We did not cook, but the kitchen seemed to have everything you would need if you would like to do so. We appreciated the individual room ACs on the second floor since the outdoor temperatures were high during our visit. When we turned them off during the day is got a bit warm upstairs, but the provided adjustable units cooled down the area quickly when we were upstairs during the evening, The host was friendly and promptly responded to communications.

Our party of 5 adults had a wonderful 3 night stay in Walla Walla Gem! The house was everything we could have hoped for - super clean, thoughtfully appointed kitchen and baths, everything in working order, clear directions on heating and internet. Vicki was very quick with responses to questions, and had the propane tank promptly refilled when needed. The yard was especially nice, and we enjoyed the fire pit and barbecue in the evening. Thank you, Vicki and Robert, for a terrific experience!

Robert and I lived in the Willamette Valley for decades, but love to travel and seek warm weather. Our travels brought us to Walla Walla and we decided it was a great destination. We have children and grandchildren in the area. We enjoy family time and water sports in the Columbia River and snow sports at Bluewood Ski Resort.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

We purchased the Walla Walla Gem in January of 2017. We were charmed by beautiful historic buildings, tree lined streets and vitality in Walla Walla. We also enjoy the Central Washington weather. In addition to the wineries, there are many cultural, music and community events to enjoy. We love the energy created by having Whitman College and Walla Walla University in the community.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

We were delighted by the recent renovation of the home. The early 1900's charm is still visible, with modern updates in all areas of the home. You can look forward to enjoying the warm weather on the back deck or sitting by the fire pit on a cool evening. The first floor has an open floor plan, so you can visit with friends while cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The close proximity to downtown is also a big advantage, as you can park your car and walk to shop, have breakfast or dinner, or for wine tasting. The home has a walkability rating of 85.
