Modern and prestigious, this cozy apartment is on the ground floor of a centennial Brooklyn townhouse located at the heart of vibrant, dynamic Crown Heights – the perfect urban haven after a full day of shopping and adventure in Manhattan or Brooklyn.
Two different subway stations (See Guide for more details), each only a 10-minute walk away, connect you to New York's most visited borough, wether you are going to the West Side, MidTown or East Side of Manhattan. Some visitors will also be pleasantly surprised to find out that we are located 30 minutes away, door to door, from the Barclays Center.
The apartment easily fits up to 6 adults, with a queen-size bed in the master bedroom, a full-size bed in the second bedroom and a comfortable sofa bed in the living room. Foodies who enjoy cooking their own meals will love the fully-equipped kitchen – and delight in the gourmet grocery stores, as well as a variety of coffee shops and restaurants, located in the neighborhood within 15 minutes on foot. Feel free to enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the townhouse's peaceful garden, to which you'll have full and direct access. The beautiful and recently renovated Brooklyn Children's Museum is on the next block, as well as a charming neighborhood park facing historic Millionaire's Row, with its magnificent 19th century buildings. Everything else you might need (drugstores, supermarkets, fast food options or caribbean restaurants) is also readily available, within walking distance.
There is CENTRAL AC with a unit in each room - open living room, master bedroom and smaller bedroom for a comfortable night of rest during NYC heat waves. The place is nice and warm during the cool months thanks to efficient radiators and separate control of the temperature in each room. In the living room you will have access to 130 channels on the flat panel television. WiFi and washer and dryer are also provided. We will gladly provide you any information and advice you might require so as to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Special arrangements are available for families with children (play pen with mattress; high chair; toys, even a City Mini stroller).

Séjour agréable mais quelques points à améliorer

L'appartement est agréable mais il y a quelques points à améliorer: 1/ Il manque une table sur laquelle manger. Il n'y a que 4 chaises pour manger sur le bar: tout le monde est aligné du même côté et ce n'est pas agréable. 2/ Certaines parties de l'appartement sont à réparer (store cassé dans la pièce principale, coffret du volet intérieur cassé) 3/ Le ménage n'est pas parfait (grille de ventilation de la salle de bains sale, porte de la salle de bains sale...) 4/ Du matériel traîne dans le petit couloir d'accès à l'appartement. En résumé, cet appartement manque un peu d'entretien.

Court séjour à Brooklyn

L’appartement est parfait pour un court séjour à NY, à proximité de 2 stations de métro desservant directement Manhattan. Noémie, la propriétaire, était réactive sur les réponses aux messages avant le séjour et disponible pendant. L’appartement est grand, 2 vraies chambres, une belle pièce de vie et dans un quartier très calme. Je recommande vivement

Wonderful experience!

The apartment and neighborhood were great! NYC was having a heat wave while we here here and we were so glad to be able to come home to an air conditioned apartment after a day of exploring the sites. The apartment was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. The hosts are lovely people. The apartment is within walking distance to grocery stores and great restaurants and delis. We always felt safe in the neighborhood even when walking home from the subway at midnight. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to New York.

Nifty Place to stay in Brooklyn

Our family of four enjoyed staying in this nifty, well-appointed place in Brooklyn, NY. There was ample space for us all to relax and enjoy after long days exploring NYC. There was a cute park, just steps away - to give the kids a quick outlet when needed. Also, this place is within walking distance to the Brooklyn Children's Museum - another great stop for kids/families. Our host, Noemie, was great - she provided tons of information upfront, and was accessible when needed. The available, on-street parking was fine, we did have to move one of the days of our stay to allow for street cleaning, etc. but it was just fine for our stay. Quick, easy access to multiple metro lines/public transportation was great! The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to make dinner nearly every night of our stay. The only feedback would be that a few kitchen utensils/oven mitts were a bit worn and could benefit from replacement - that is really the only negative. Would definitely consider staying here again if ever traveling to NYC! Thanks!

Just as Advertised

We had an overall great experience. The house was just as we had expected from the pictures. There was six of us so it was a bit tight and with only one bathroom it was a challenge. but we made it work. The neighborhood seemed like your typical working class housing and people, and had no problems walking 5 blocks each day to the subway, and then back again each night around 9:00pm. Subway ride each day to Manhattan was about 45 minutes depending on where you are going. The accommodations in the house were just what we needed, towels, blankets, pillows, ect. We would definately stay again.

Perfect property for our family stay in NY. Everything you needed was provided, clean, warm, comfort

The apartment was as described on the site. Noemie was lovely, very welcoming and always at the end of a phone if we needed anything. The apartment was clean, warm and comfortable everything you need is provided. Very close to two subways for easy access into Manhattan. We travelled back at all times of the evening and always a train to Kingston Avenue. I would definitely recommend this property to any friends visiting NY and was a major part of us enjoying our first visit. Hopefully will be returning.

Nice cozy apartment

We had a great stay in Noemies lovely apartment. Everything worked out perfectly. The apartment is very clean and large with a perfect location near to the Subway. We will absolutely reccommend Noemies place.

Super plan

Appartement tres confortable dans un quartier où on se sent bien. Pas de touriste, des arbres, des jolies maisons, des restos sympas qui ne sont pas dans les guides. Location de velo sur fulton street un peu plus bas, et Prospect park pas loin. Très pratique pour aller à Manhattan par le métro qui est à 5 mn.

Super logement

Très beau logement, spacieux, fonctionnel et pratique d'accès dans un quartier tranquille. Il y a deux metro à 10 minutes à pied donc parfait. La propriétaire est sympathie et disponible. Je recommande vraiment cet appartement.

Clean, cute, great for families

This apartment is very clean and well laid out. It's great for families (washer/dryer, full kitchen, second bedroom, pack n' play available, toys, a neighborhood playground right outside, etc.). The neighborhood is bustling during the day, but quiet at night. The owner of the apartment is very responsive and accommodating. This will probably be our go-to rental when we're in Brooklyn!

Fantastic apartment

Great private apartment for the whole family in Crown Heights Brooklyn

This is a very nice apartment for 1-2 couples or a family, and was exactly as pictured in the listing. We would definitely recommend this property and stay there again on our next visit to Brooklyn/NYC, especially as we enjoy staying in neighborhoods that feel like the real New York, with character, personality and an interesting vibe. Really a fantastic deal vs what you'd get staying in a hotel, and a lot more fun too. We were met on our arrival by our host (Noemi) - the apartment is huge, with a full kitchen, nice bathroom and two good sized bedrooms. Plenty of space and quiet and comfort despite the cold Winter weather outside. We had choices of two different metro stations into Manhattan, both just a short walk away - plus also discovered a number of nearby restaurants and attractions thanks to the host's suggestions. We didn't have a car, but on street parking is available. Apartment is on the ground level, so we didn't have to carry our luggage up any stairs either. I hope to stay here again when we make a return trip to see NY in the Summer!
