Built in 2009 this house is perfect for your family with tons to do. Located on the 'Quietside' of Mount Desert Island boarding Acadia National Park and 23 acres of woods. Very private woodsy setting just minutes away from hiking, biking, water recreation and more. The village of Southwest Harbor is just minutes from the property and Bar Harbor is only 20 minutes.

What a beautiful property both inside and outside! Very spacious with plenty of room. Great getaway especially for a family with children. Pool was gorgeous and a really big hit for our family. Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park close by only approximately 20 minutes so great place to stay and visit all the great places for sightseeing and visiting beautiful Acadia National Park. We would definitely stay again in the future!

This was one of our absolute favorite vacation rentals. The location was perfect the pool and hot tub were a huge hit! And waking up Christmas morning to all the snow was simply magical. Great location and even in the off season we had an amazing time.

We had an amazing stay in Bernard! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and perfect for our family getaway. One of the highlights was the indoor pool & outdoor hot tub. They were a huge hit with both the adults and our young grandchildren after long days exploring Acadia. The outdoor play area was another wonderful bonus and gave the kids even more space to play and enjoy themselves.The fully equipped kitchen made preparing meals together easy and enjoyable, and the peaceful location was exactly what we were looking for, quiet and scenic, yet close enough to easily enjoy Acadia National Park, Bar Harbor, and the surrounding coastal towns.The host was wonderful, communication was excellent, and everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and memorable Maine getaway!

Spring break in Acadia!

Kids swam everyday, and parents enjoyed the solitude! Pretty close to Bar Harbor, a nice town with good cafes.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed this home for our family trip to Acadia National Park. The house was clean, spacious, comfortable, and very well equipped with everything we needed.A few things are worth noting for future guests. The listing describes the pool as heated, but unfortunately the water was extremely cold during our stay. We reached out to the owner and were told it was at 82 degrees, but it definitely did not feel that way—it felt more like a polar plunge! We had really been looking forward to using the pool, so it was disappointing that the water temperature made it difficult to enjoy.The home also does not have air conditioning, which we somehow missed when booking. Thankfully, it cooled down enough at night that opening the windows helped, but the house—especially upstairs—can get quite warm.Finally, the location is very remote, and we weren’t able to find any food delivery services that would deliver to the house, including DoorDash, Uber Eats, or local pizza places. If you’re planning to get takeout after a day in Acadia, definitely pick it up on your way back rather than counting on delivery.Overall, though, we had a wonderful trip and really enjoyed the property. It was a beautiful, spacious home base for our family while exploring Acadia.

We had a fantastic time at this property. The home was spacious, clean, and exactly as described. The open layout made it perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The owners were incredibly responsive and made everything easy from check-in to check-out. Highly recommend—would definitely stay here again!

Serene Retreat with Amazing Pool - Perfect Island Getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at this VRBO! The highlight for us was definitely the pool and the beautiful property. It provided a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the island. The location was serene and just what we needed. We would love to stay here again!

The property was excellent. Kitchen had everything you would need. The pool and hot tub were great amenities. The kids really enjoyed it. Would definitely stay again in the future.

A little about our family first my name is Michelle but most people call me Shelley my husbands name is Ricky and we have two young children Cooper who is 13 and Bentley who is 11 I grew up just a mile from this property and my husband is from Ellsworth which you drive through to get to the property. I went to MDI high school where I was part of 3 basketball state championships and then graduated from Maine Maritime Academy where I was known for playing basketball as well. I now work for Margo Stanley Real Estate as a associate broker and my husband and I own our own businesses Miles Motorsports & Complete Car Care which is located in Hancock. Ricky also worked for Morrison Chevrolet for 18 years which is now Darlings Chevrolet in Ellsworth. Rick went to Ellsworth High School where he was a part of 2 soccer state championships. As you can see we are a very busy family when we are not working we are with our family Rick is a Shriner and is part of the Nascar unit of Ellsworth so we go camping a lot to help raise money for the shine hospital. We love being outside ice fishing, snowmobiling, boating, all water and land sports we just love. I would love to answer anything anyone would like to know about me and my family.

We love this property our children always have things to do and so do we. It is very peaceful we are in the middle of 23 acres of woods it is quiet.
