This is a wonderful older house just a short walk up the hill from downtown Southwest Harbor. It has a nice stocked kitchen and plenty of comfortable places to relax. We really enjoyed the fireplace. We definitely love to stay at this house in the future.

Very quaint and charming home. Like staying at “your grandma’s house” where you have and can make great memories. Short walk to town and easy drive to Acadia. Beautiful walks all around.

Very spacious house with lots of sleeping space. Deck was wonderful - nice place to just sit outside in the fresh air and have a beer - but covered in case of rain. Very well located on the quieter side of the park with easy access to many trails. Also some good dining options in the area - including one of the best lobster pounds on the island - Beal’s! (Have eaten there 3 years in a row - love it!). Acadia is so much fun - we had a wonderful time.

Other than the mystery fire alarm, a very pleasant stay. Even had an occasion to use the great fireplace one evening! We'll be back!

Like stepping back several decades to stay here. In a good way! Clean and well-kept, spacious and well-equipped. Stayed with our three kids and could have easily fit another family. Walked yo the lovelyvauseway several times as well as into town. Southwest Harbor is much quieter than Bar Harbor. Would definitely stay here again!

Did you happen to see a navy-blue sweater with an "Anthony's" from Florida tag and with three white anchors on the front - I left it there by mistake and searching the internet I found it for sale! Family Stay in Southwest Harbor

We were in Southwest Harbor for a week staying at the house and it was a wonderful property and location. It had everything we needed for our family and while it is dated it is cozy as well!

My Favorite Vacation Spot

This is the most lovely Maine “Cottage”, but it has plenty of space and a huge covered porch where we spent alot of our time. So many happy memories made here!

Singing Hill is the perfect Maine summer cottage! We stayed with a group of friends for our wedding and it was an ideal setting. Quaint, comfortable, with a porch made for relaxing with friends.

Beautiful property, amazing location

Less than a mile from the center of Southwest, a pleasant walk. The house has everything anyone might need along with a beautiful porch with relaxing furniture. We loved it!

Fantastic location

This is an amazing house in a fantastic location. Lots of cool stuff nearby. Beds were very comfortable. We loved the fireplace. Hosts were very friendly and easy to reach. Would definitely rent again.

Great Location

We very much enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of room and very much enjoyed eating dinner on the porch. It was fun to walk down to the causeway after dinner and watch the sun set. We preferred staying in Southwest harbor because it was less crowed than bar harbor. Great hikes and swimming in Eco lake were within 15 min drive.

Lovely home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful Arts & Crafts home. Very spacious and a large porch for relaxing. Loved that it was tucked away but also convenient to the Main St. It was well equipped and loved the large stone fireplace on cool nights. Will definitely return

What a great vacation!

This house just feels like Maine! It has everything you need to be comfortable, plus ambiance galore. The porch is huge and wonderful for hanging out, even in a rain storm, as it is deep and covered. We hated to leave! The location is fantastic- a short walk to working harbor, Beals Lobster Pound, Southwest Harbor, and “ The causeway”.

The house is lovely nestled in an established neighborhood. It has a beautiful covered front porch, original woodwork and fireplace. It is nicely furnished, very homey with spices, paper and cleaning supplies. This is a great house for 2 families. It has both an eat in kitchen and dining room. We appreciated the option of the downstairs bedroom and bath for our parents.
