We had a great time at the property! It was very well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen to cook a meal, outdoor activities, and very close to town. Todd, was very nice and check in/out was smooth. We will be staying here again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice, clean, and comfortable place to stay near Shipshewana.

Great clean and well-maintained property both inside and out located on a quiet natural setting along the Pigeon River close to everything the Shipshewana area has to offer, would definitely recommend.

Todd was very communicative and available before and during our stay. The home was comfortable, had nice appliances, and had all needed supplies to cook our meals. The deck and the river view were very relaxing. I would recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in the area.

A really lovely retreat on the river. The Kitchen is well stocked and the space is very comfortable. We counted over 100 turtles as we traveled the river. And my family loved kayaking and swimming right off the dock.

Lovely stay on the river

My family had a great time here! The home was clean and comfortable. The kayaks were a lot of fun! Easy access to the highway and Howe square.

The house was super clean and well stocked with all the essentials, the host was very accommodating and made sure every thing was ready for our arrival! Probably the cleanest Vrbo I’ve ever seen! Would highly recommend to anyone.

Quiet retreat

Relaxing

Property is homey and had every amenity to make the stay perfect, including throw blankets in the living room and firewood for the firepit. Tastefully decorated with comfortable beds and quality towels. Beautiful scenery and river right out the back door.

Peaceful and convenient

This cottage was in a very peaceful location on the river. It was still very convenient to the major routes to help with sightseeing in the many surrounding communities. The cottage was all updated and very comfortable!

Very spotless and beautifully decorated place with everything you need. Our host went above and beyond to make sure we felt at home. The amenities were top-notch, and the host's guidebook had some fantastic local recommendations. All the little extras were so appreciated. We took advantage of the kayaks and the surrounding areas. This is a 5 star place with great customer service. I highly recommend this place!

This VRBO was well supplied with anything and everything you could possibly need on a vacation. All we did was bring some food and enjoyed our stay. Beautiful setting there were even kayaks for us to use a nice big grill outback on the deck. I also saw a fire pit with the wood that we needed.Everything was nice and clean. Post was very attentive and friendly. I look forward to staying at this place again.

fun time was had by all!

The property was beautifully appointed! There were lots of fluffy towels. Everything was immaculately clean. The host was wonderful and answered any questions in a very timely matter

Highly Recommend

It’s a wonderful property, and the host thought of everything that you would need during your stay. You’ll wish it was your place…both for the inside decor and charm, and the scenic location with the river outside your back door. Communication with the host was terrific, and the property was immaculate. Highly Recommend…we’ll be back for sure.

Bring your fishing poles! You'll be right on Pigeon River and it's glorious. A cute little 2 BR 1 BA house, completely renovated, all the necessities. The only thing I needed was a plastic food storage container and some zip lock baggies - other than that you're good to go! We especially liked the alarm clocks in both bedrooms that include a phone charging dock. My friend forgot his charging cord and was going to have to buy another one but the charging dock saved the day and a few extra bucks.

Tranquil

This is by far the best property in the Howe area. All the amenities in one place!! It was super quiet after a long day at work. I highly recommend this rental! I will certainly be back when I am back in town! Todd was very communicative and was there if you needed anything A++++!

Relaxing

It was very nice house as described on VRBO. It was very peaceful and definitely got to see lot of birds on the neighbors feeders and fish jumping in the water. But the gas grill was left a mess with the previous stays used foil on the grill and bees flying inside of it and looked like they tried burning a bucket and the aluminium foil in the fire pit.

Fantastic!!!

Wow! What a beautiful, clean, and fantastic place to relax and unwind. Todd went above and beyond communicating with us every way possible. Such an excellent host. Everything we needed was well maintained, more than what we needed, special little touches everywhere, and the view of the river was so relaxing. The rental home was also convenient to local towns and we enjoyed driving the beautiful country roads to Shipshawana. We cannot not recommend enough.
