Great little cottage close to town for couples or families with older children. Steps down in bathroom a bit much for anyone with mobility issues or little ones. Otherwise a fabulous affordable stay on a beautiful property, close to town.

Bed was uncomfortable and even though we knew the bathroom was outside it was difficult to manage for us.

After an incredibly busy few weeks, this place was just what the doctor ordered. This cruisy peaceful country cottage allowed us to put the brakes on instantly and unwind. A fireplace stoked and ready to go, blankets on each of the recliner rockers, a bottle of local red and some chockies left for us, and an outdoor shower secluded behind greenery to top it all off - perfect!

Gorgeous, perfectly located, comfy cottage in stunning setting. Make sure to put aside time to follow Emily's directions for the walk to Margaret River (behind the property, 500m away) and from there it is an absolutely beautiful walk.

Very happy with everything ,bathroom could be a bit tricky to negotiate for older travellers. The fire, space, and quiet were great. A small bbq would of been nice to have

Thank you for your feedback and I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Re bbq I did have one for a while but people were leaving in extremely dirty each time so unfortunately I had to remove it.

Positioned in a lovely part of Margaret River surrounded by trees and bush. Easy walk into town for coffee, shopping and dining. The house is rustic but comfortable. The beds were cosy, but second bedroom only has a screen separating it from the main part of the house and the single bed is in the main living area. The shower and the toilet being outside is unusual, but kind of nice :). Many wonderful books to read and DVDs to watch. Overall, we had a lovely stay with our dog at Emily's house.

We had a lovely stay here. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, porch was nice to sit out on. Would recommend for a quiet, peaceful staff very close to Margaret River

Beautiful property, excellent host, and so close to town but with such country vibes you would never know. Kangaroos hopping past the verandah in the evening and morning, lots of lovely birds in the bird bath to watch and a nice wood fire with shelves of books to curl up and read.

We had such a nice winter weekend with our dog, a storm and a fireplace. The perfect place to bunker down between showers. The kitchen was well stocked for some nice breakfasts with the best pan I've ever used for scrambled eggs. Close to town and nice to watch the kangaroos and neighbors horses. Looking forward to spending another weekend there in the future

Has everything we needed. Great fireplace. The property is right in the bush with birds all around. The outdoor bathroom might not be for everyone, but met our needs. Comfortable beds. Might book again and bring the kids next time.
