This stay was perfect. Ideal location for our group of 7 older gents on our annual golf outing. Close to courses, easy access to the highways. Great place to watch college football on Saturday and awesome amenities and a great host. Will definitely be back next year. Fore!!

This place was AMAZING!!!....and the owners were very responsive!! We will definitely be planning to stay here again in the future!!...maybe a snow trip in the winter! We absolutely LOVED this house!

Great. Being familiar with the area, our family owned a residence there for hyears, sold it 29 years ago, we enjoyed it very much. Everyone else must of had the same idea, it was like being in the city, prices in Truckee were very expensive. The Vrbo was great, we had no issues with where we stayed.

This was an amazing home offering fun places to hang out and gather for family meals. Well stocked kitchen. Games and fun for all ages. Celebrated my husbands 70th with his kids and grandkids and this was our home base. Really nice experience.

Amazing Stay!

What an amazing property to stay at! We stayed at this property with a couple of families and had a fantastic time. The home was well stocked with everything we needed and the home was laid out in such a wonderful format. So many activities for the kids to play with! Can’t wait to stay here again.

Great cabin for two families

We skied Northstar within about a 20 minute drive, checked out the town of Truckee and the Donner Museum and even went to heavenly for a bit. We went sledding at a local park and had such a great time. Great location and the hot tub was a bonus for sure!

Beautiful and well appointed cabin

High end rental, all the supplies you need in the kitchen, even an instapot. Super clean, exactly as described. Would stay again for sure.

Winter getaway

We had the best stay at this home. It was the perfect size for our family of four and a second family of four. Enough space for two families, wonderful kitchen, and great location for all winter activities. We appreciated how clean the home was and how well stocked the kitchen was. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great Getaway

The cabin was beautiful. All the comforts of home. We spent most of the day skiing but we all looked forward to coming back to the cabin and relaxing. We are ready to come back next year. A wonderful experience.

Well cared for property

You can tell a lot of love has gone into this home. Nicely furnished, clean, well stocked. The mattresses left a little to be desired, some better than others, but okay enough for a long weekend stay. Easy check in and communication with host.

Best rental in Truckee

We’ve been renting in Truckee for 30 years as we take an annual ski trip with lifelong friends. The kitchen and bathrooms are completely remodeled; the 2 king size mattresses are excellent quality; the house is well stocked. This place feels like a home, not a rental.

A Stay in the Snow at Firehouse Cabin

Very well equipped,appliances, furnishings, bedroom accommodations, comfort and functionality of all excellent. Cabin was clean and ready when scheduled. Owner was easy to contact and responsive. If you have infant or require hichair bring one…they do not have one on site. Great stay overall!!

Wonderful family vacation home

From the moment you walk in, you get the sense that this is a meticulously cared for and adored family home. There’s a beautiful big kitchen for cooking, plentiful activities for the kiddos, and a lovely hot tub. Spacious rooms and many lovely amenities make this the perfect destination for a family vacation. We’re already looking at the calendar for our next stay. The owners are beyond lovely and highly recommend!
