Good location, sub-par property
This is a good location, just a couple of blocks from the Seine, and easy walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, D'Orsay Museum and other sights. With two bedrooms and two full bathrooms (sort of), it could be good for families. But the property itself is tired. Linens were old and threadbare. The door to the freezer in the small refrigerator was missing, and we didn't find anything resembling an ice cube tray. One bathroom was large and well appointed, but the sink in the other was so small it was virtually unusable, and the second toilet was down the hall. In one bedroom, there was a melon-sized hole in a window where some kind of appliance had apparently once been vented to the outside. It was taped over, but incompletely, leaving spaces still open to the outdoors. And the display of Christmas decorations in June was just plain odd. There was no information in the apartment about Wi-Fi, trash disposal, or the operation of appliances. We eventually got the info we needed about the Wi-Fi (good) and trash disposal, but we never did learn how to operate the washer/dryer.
